I was on that same cruise. And to be honest I was scared going into it as a first time MSC passenger seeing all of the negative reviews. Let me tell you, from start to finish it was a GREAT experience!!! I timed it getting off the parking shuttle bus to stepping on the ship and it was 21 minutes!!! And it was very busy in the terminal as well. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. (even when I dropped my passport in line and started to panic, several employees assisted me and made me feel calm. I found it!!) Our room was perfect and ready on time. The food was not bad at all! I loved Ocean Cay and how easy it was to get on and off. The customer service desk line was long but there were employees with ipads helping the line go quicker. I had no problems with billing at all (the secret is to just use a credit card instead of cash or debit). I did witness several passengers yelling in the faces of crew members and honestly, even if you have an issue, that is not called for. On disembarkation there was a tornado warning and had to wait a few minutes but it was for safety and I did get off the ship quickly even with lines. HOWEVER, people were screaming at the crew that they had to wait; even during a safety concern. Overall, I think the crew were fine and the passengers were the problem. I had a great time.

Great video shots of the sail out in the storm! Love it. We were in the MDR waiting forever for food during most of that! I don't think I've ever seen so MANY mirrors on a ship before! I thought I was in a funhouse at a county fair! Lol! I just wished all those mirrors would have made me look thinner!

i know its been a while since you were on MSC, but to get water for your CPAP you are supposed to order before you get there. like during booking or last payment. same on Carnival

The first time we were on, they had a gallon of distilled water free of charge waiting on us in the room. The last cruise back in April we had to request it when we got on board and they brought it in a cup. I would suggest making sure you fill out the special needs form in the website and maybe calling to make sure. It may still be free.

I leave on MSC Seaside in 10 days and I asked for distilled water in my room for my cpap and they said the don't supply distilled water, I need to bring my own. So i purchased small 8 oz bottles and will bring my own

I have a cruise coming up in July. Im excited and ready to get my cruise going. First time on MSC. Ship looks beautiful. Yalls embarkation reminds me of how fast mine went on the Serenade of the Sea, fast! I was on her just a month ago and loved it so much. Was yalls cruise at full capacity? Thanks for the heads up for the mirror that looks like a hall. Lol, id run right into it for sure. The dining room looks way to busy.

It was at full capacity. Make sure you get there early regardless of what time your boarding pas says. We made that mistake on the MSC Meraviglia back in January and it took forever to get on. MSC is a little different but I think you will have a great time. Let us know how it goes.

This ship just failed inspection terribly, with a 67, that’s pretty damn bad

We had a late boarding time of 2pm but we arrived early around 10:15am and went through the “outside your boarding time “ line and was on within a few minutes. Hope you enjoy your cruise & thank you so much for watching!

I don't believe you can prepay in advance. Just at the entrance to the terminal.

My time is 2:00 to board. If I come early will they let us on

It has been our experience that they really aren’t paying attention to boarding times. Hopefully they keep that up. We enjoy getting on as early as we can. Have a great cruise!!

We got there around 10 am. We were in the terminal sitting within 15 minutes and on the ship by 11. It might have even been a little earlier.

We plan on making a video about this. Our suggestion is get there early for embarkation regardless of what time your ticket says and for disembarkation get in line early regardless of what they tell you. Trust us, you won’t regret it…😁. Have a great cruise!

We mostly ate the buffet and had no complaints. Anything we got was good and there was always plenty of delicious pizza! Thank you so much watching!
