It really was, Teresa! We just loved the layout, and it was the perfect size ship. Really pretty too!

Yes, it really was lovely! The way they had it decorated was pretty impressive…Especially for somewhat of a smaller ship.

Just came off her sister Musica on a Med cruise, its amazing and amusing to see how similar they are, yet also where the differences are too! such as the rear pool having a roof which Musica doesnt have, or how the bar layout on deck 7 being totally different with the sports bar on Magnifica being more like an english pub on Musica with a piano where the bobsled is (also no tv screens!). Have to ask though, what was the musical entertainment like in the bars and lounges? Musica still had its Brazilian and latin performers onboard from her Brazilian and South America cruise so we only had that in them all.

Hi there! Thanks for sharing about your experiences on the Musica! I have not heard much about her before, so we’re going to have to watch a few videos to find out more! I’m intrigued with the bar on deck seven being more of an English pub style! That sounds awesome! In terms of the entertainment on the Magnifica, it was really varied. We did hear some Latin music, but there was also classic rock, 80s, karaoke, and a variety of other music at times. If you watch the other videos in our series, you might catch a few samples. Hi Marcus, and thank you! Wow, that’s almost like trying to pick a favorite child. 😂 It is tough to pick a favorite overall, as there were things that we liked about the Seashore better, and things that we liked about the Magnifica better. Overall, the Seashore had a lot more to offer, and it was a newer ship. But the smaller size of the Magnifica (easy to get around and navigate) and the fact that we got to stay overnight at the island made that a really nice cruise as well! We did already book the Seashore again for next March, so I would say if I had to pick, that would probably be my favorite. 😎

I love MSC Seashore Can’t wait to stay overnight on their private island. Do you drive to Miami the day of cruise or day before?

Isn’t the Seashore a great ship? It really was fun to be able to spend more time on the island when we were on the Magnifica. I mean, you can’t sleep on the island, but the ship stays there overnight. 🤗 At least it did on the cruise we took. We decided to stay overnight in Miami at a hotel the night before the cruise, just because we didn’t want to have to get up quite so early to drive down there. It’s about a 6 Hour drive for us. However, on the way back, we went straight home after getting off the ship . 🛳️😎
