Hello, can YOU make a video for MB SCN coding? I have read a lot of forums, and people says that SCN coding possible only with Vediamo (Variant Coding for M mode, Agility mode), that Autel can't do that stuff, for example to code Paddle Shifters for MB only with Vediamo, please explain that if it's true. Which scan tool would you recommend for programming key fobs on newer vehicles? I tend to work more on Honda/Acura and sometimes BMW

I usually tell my client to purchase a day subscription at the OEM website. You can go to NASTF.ORG and get a directory list of all the OEM website. If your serious about the FORD information, I can set up an account to where you dont need to pay each time you want to use it. You can go to auteltech.co.za and click the diagnostic tool consultation for 97 USD. Then I will install log in your computer and set up your account so you can access the repair information for free.

You can add some keys but its coverage is not that strong in my opinion

You’re not using the autel j2534. I spent 4 hrs trying to flash a tcm with the autel. I had to purchase a snap on pass thru pro which is made by Bosch and drew tech. The autel used to work with GM. I noticed you’re using the Cardaq plus.

Hey James. You are correct. If you listen at the begging of my presentation when I describe the tools required, I state that you can use any j2534. Ive installed 5 GM in the past 2 weeks for my clients and none of them had any connectivity issues. This client chose to use his cardaq because he couldn't figure out how to install the Autel Drivers ..Then he purchased the Cardaq thinking it would solve his solution. He then hired me to help him with the installation of the software and I did. What I suggest if you want want you j2534 to work for GM.. book a consultation with me and ill get it communicating. I could have saved you the hassle of purchasing another j2534

I have been using the autel J2534 for years along with the scan tools with no issues. I have used it on fords, gm and Chrysler. This problem with gm just started with the program switch. It shows the autel in the list of j2534 pass thru’s but when you click on them one at a time. They don’t connect. It’s alway said contact the manufacturer but would normally work. The drivers are installed on my laptop. I will look into booking a consultation with you.
