Ms. Paul Flips for UDL with Screencasting!
Ms.Paul, chemistry teacher at Wheaton High School has been experimenting in her classroom! She has decided to use screencasting as a way to "flip" her classroom and provide more options for student learning at school and at home. Ms. Paul belongs to the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Leadership PLC at her school. This video is part of the UDL in MCPS video series created by the HIAT team.

This is great for the kids learning...! If I had had this kind of personalized learning support in HS chemistry I would have likely succeeded in my aspirations for a science and medical career, which, unfortunately, were frustrated by the weaknesses of 'old school' teaching techniques... Kudos to Ms Paul for being a leader in using educational innovations and technology. Her students are blessed indeed...!
