I do really appreciate the question. But I can’t get behind how Raven was seemingly shaming going no contact with abusive people in this generation though. I actually liked that she shared these stories including asking the abuser who fathered her first kids to apologize and the awful things he said. Cause it shows that though you may never get the acknowledgment or apology you should from someone that did awful things to you; you can still move forward, grow, and gain control of your story and life. This was a great episode, she talks about a lot of dark things and stories comedically-which may make people uncomfortable, but at the end of the day as she mentions: it gives people the opportunity to relate and also talk about these things when they otherwise may not have been able to.

Forgiveness is for you, not the abuser. Using the term "playing victim" is very close to victim blaming. You can be a victim of abuse and a survivor of abuse. Just like you can express your angry and frustration for not properly being cared for, and still live a fulfilling life after harm. Point is, don't let the harm done to you keep you stuck in time. Ms. Pat sharing her story helps her do that. Hope others find ways to get their stories out.

So it to, can help someone who looks up or to you in way. Great job ladies ❤🙌🏾✨️😌🫶🏾🌹
What I love about the Ms. Pat show is the balance between heavy subjects and humor. The graveyard song, abortion, and "I hate her" episodes made me cry but then laugh at the same time. So, thank you for sharing Ms. Pat🧡💛💚❤️
This episode was not nearly long enough! Great job ladies!
I confessed to my parents and my stepdad I was molested by family… my mother got deported soon after, I had to take care of my younger sibling untill they graduated highschool last year . It’s been a rough past 10 years. But I 1000% agree. You need to let it go. Or I wouldn’t be here
Raven saying she doesn't have the money for another microphone is unhinged 🤣🤣🤣 #wealthy

Wow.. this epispode was sad.. was funny.. was inspiring.. i went through a lot of emotions watching.. Ms Pat and Raven.. what a great Tea time🎉🎉🎉😊😊
I enjoyed Ms. Pat not being vulgar the whole time. She dropped some great gems in this interview.
This amount of self awareness, healing and forgiveness is astronomical! She wouldn’t have the life and the experiences she has had if she wasn’t able to tell her story in only the way she could! I absolutely love Mrs. Pat bc that’s her testimony!
I see Ms. Pat being interviewed I click. Raven interviewing her was the icing on top! I know I’m gonna get a good laugh, some wisdom, & a good conversation🥰
I hesitated, not one bit, when I saw this video’s thumbnail. I’m literally one of the biggest Ms. Pat fans 😍
We need a part 2! This was such a great moment! ❤
She’s teaching them a valuable lesson about being real and truly letting go and not living in the Hurt… you can’t change the past, but you can move on and change your future and make life better for yourself and those who are coming behind you.
My ultimate fav episode it feels so good to breathe after hearing this woman talk. I don’t want anyone to think they can have power over me that’s all. 😢
Learning your family's story (Mother, grandmother; Father, grandfather...ect.), you'll understand in full the impact of generational trauma. Ms. Pat brings the light as she shares her story of generational trauma. I hope people are digesting the reality of her words with the "Haha".
Genuinely loved this interview and I mean all the interviews but Miranda 😂 she fits right in and I love it !!

19:42 I am fucking dying at Miranda’s transition. Ahahahahahahahaha crying tears.
This was so insightful. I loved every minute. The unfiltered banter, addressing real life trauma, and making the best of it. It’s truly great to see
Ms. Pat is quickly becoming one of my favorite people. I have watched all 4 seasons of her show and the last episode had me clutching my pearls. If no one knows what it means to watch a Dramedy, Ms. Pat show is a master class. I laugh and cry and learn and forgive. The way she carries herself and the stories help you heal.
Wish this was like an hour long. This was sooo good! Loved the convo and jokes. Ms.Pat is so inspirational! 🎉 PLEASE COME BACK ON THE PODCAST MS.PAT!❤
How can you not love Ms. Pat? Keep shining Queen! We are all rooting for you ❤

I love this Ms.Pats authenticity 🫶🏾and Ravens direction of conversation was spot on ❤️❤️👏🏾
Raven-Symoné & Miranda Hat’s off to you two, thank you for holding Ms. Pat within her trauma for those brief moments. Now I fully understand how she was able to release and move forward. I’ve watched many of Ms. Pat interviews she tells her stories but, there is always a section missing the “how to heal” part. You two have closed that gap for me. Ms. Pat, thank you for reassuring me that I am moving in the correct direction.
Love the interview!!!
I just purchased a new home and I’m at Home Depot every week!! Love them!

Ms Pat is an absolute Gem she’s so right about forgiveness you have to release it I know it’s hard but you can’t live holding on to baggage it weighs you & your body down that’s why Ms Pat looks so beautiful she’s free ❤❤❤❤
This was a great interview, each time I listened to Ms.Pat, I learn something, I laugh and I feel better about whatever I’m going through.
This is BEAUTIFUL ❤
I love Mrs. Pat and how real and raw she is. It's rare to find someone that has been through what she has been through, has made a name for herself and is still true to who she is. She's not faking it for nobody and I appreciate her for making the money but not letting the money make her. Continue to inspire others you're so amazing!!! 💐
I LAUGHED FROM START TO FINISH.... GREAT SHOW!
Ms. Pat is so refreshing and real. My mom was like her I wanna hug her.
She's speaking the truth, I do the same thing, I being thru the same things She's been thru. Forgiving, healing, and moving on with life

This was absolutely amazing. I've been watching Ms. Pat since her very first Joe Rogan episode and she is truly truly special, and we can learn a lot from her
I love Ms Pat! Great episode!
I like how she talks about forgiveness, that’s what I learned when I went to a AAA meeting at a church and I went for a college class. She’s right, it takes forgiveness to move on from trauma.
One of your best eps!
Love ms pat, wish this was longer. You ladies have good chemistry
Happy Pride 🌈 I needed this how could I have just found this podcast. And having Ms Pat was so great. I instantly fell in love with This Channel
Emotional maturity is the ability to understand, manage, and express emotions in a healthy way that promotes personal growth and good relationships.
