Poor results by Norton Surprised by defender

Two tests in a single day. That's also a pleasant surprise 😅

i enjoyed this video and also test trend micro. For the past few months it has given poor results in the independent labs particularly in avcomparatives in which it has got the lowest overall score as compared all other avs tested

I will use eset or mcafee

Please test AVG Ultimate or AVG free against any reputed AV.

Make a test in which u try to cure an infected system with different second opinion scanners and compare which did the best.

@@jitechsolutions I am not sure if is the actual MEMZ because the MEMZ virus has a more straight fading out of the screen as opposed in the video where it tended to be a bit more random.Also if I remember the screen didn't flash as much and I don't recall seeing many error pop-ups and the cursor being surrounded by critical error symbols.Idk it may be me

@@draculemihawk10 I think you are right that it could be like a memz 2.0 or 3.0 hehe as i can't always remember the malware and exactly what they do, there are so many but it has similar traits.

how the hell is webroot still in business when their product continues to perform like this?

7:25 I think is not 100% malware is just corn on whatsapp group, but still count has fail, can you cencor more on owner?

what on eath is this lol! i knew webroot would give the worst among these three cuz it's completely dependent on cloud and no on-system virus signatures. but norton getting ransomware infection and more iocs as compared to windefender is hard to digest. first f-secure and now norton giving poor results. I see youtubers making fun of windows defender and mcafee but today both performed better as compared to its competitors.

all three of these products are terrible, why do people still use them?

​@@KiroKiro-ko3kb Kaspersky and Bitdefender are decent, but they have the same weakness that every other AV has, as soon as they can't identify the threat they fail. There's many good scanners out there, but very few of those are good for protection and prevention. For prevention? Comodo, Voodoo Cyberlock, SecureAge or any other whitelisting application you can think of. Although if I were you, I'd configure comodo to block unknown files instead of sandboxing them.
