Hands down, one of my favorite movies from my childhood. The deleted scene with you and Robin talking after the spelling bee - makes me cry everytime I watch the clip on KZread.

I really felt like this movie helped my 4 kids so very much as they lived through our divorce. Still one of our favorite movies. Bless you.

It's great to hear about a Hollywood power male taking a young woman in a close relationship and being a mentor not a monster. That's how you do it guys.

Robin Williams owned the part of Mrs.Doubtfire nobody can fill that role.

M P Robin was a good chunk of my childhood. Mrs.Doubtfire helped me get through my Mother when we lost her due to breast cancer when he talks about different families in the end. Those were really nice words spoken.

She still looks so beautiful, healthy and normal. Getting away from the hollywood scene was probably the best thing for her.

He created my childhood. He was and is my favorite, most genuinely special, childhood memory. What he did was creat something more precious than he ever knew. From birth to teen hood, he was and always will be my captain❤️

There will NEVER EVER be another Robin Williams. Depression is a dark and scary place, I hope that you found your peace. God speed.

I wish my daughter could enjoy Robin's work like I did in my childhood. I watch his old movies with her and she loves them. She is eleven and in a different generation.

I rented this movie so much as a kid the video store finally just have me the tape. I can quote it word for word. I still laugh everytime. It never gets old. Thanks Robin for wonderful childhood memories! R.I.P.

I remember being disappointed with Mrs Doubtfire first time out, probably because I was expecting a much broader slapstick comedy. There are some hilarious moments for sure, but the films serious emotional heart resonated so powerfully that it effected me more than I was expecting. now that I'm a father it hits me on a whole new level. Great interview.

What a sweet young lady. Loved that movie. Loved Robin.

Ok, is nobody going to come out and just say how super beautiful this woman is?! She was a knockout when we were young and she still is!

Im glad in this day and age that what she said was not a headline grabber but simply something nice and kind and important.

I felt the same but my kids talked me into watching it. And it was actually pretty good. It's more of a sequel than a remake. And they did a great job.

I love and miss Robin like crazy. I recommend getting the dvd of him in the actor studio honestly is a bit longer sadly doesn’t have cc but is really good. Miss you my captain.

My parents divorced when I was 9, this movie became my favorite movie, it always cheered me up I love it even more now as an adult

that's what the director wanted to do. Basically Lisa Jakub and Matthew Lawrence are suppose to be based off Sally Field while Mara Wilson was suppose to be based off Robin Williams

I was just about to make this comment; that, grown up, she looks a little like Sally field. Yeah, the kids were well-cast. It's believable that they could be the offspring of the parents.

When I was younger I was upset that Daniel and Miranda did not get together Now I think it was VERY smart because children need to understand that divorce happens but that does not mean that they can’t be happy family The way Daniel became the new babysitter in the end was the best This demonstrated that not only Daniel was responsible but that Miranda and Daniel can get along and trust each other

Very nice interview. Thanks for sharing Lisa. I hope you are well. Robin was brilliant and he is missed. I sometimes get angry and upset with Robin. Having suffer from depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety for years myself, I can understand how he could have reached that point. I pray that I never do. It is devastating.

It sounds as if Robin had a profound (positive) effect on her life, at a critical junction - when she really needed it. Sometimes, people come into our life for a reason, and sometimes for a very good reason. When I watched this movie, I thought I saw something in her eyes that seemed to say "I have a problem, and I need some direction". Glad to know 2 things i.e. I was right, and glad she found what she needed, at the right time. RIP Robin Williams

Wonderful that Lisa did this compilation for fans. Mrs. Doughtfire is a classic and seriously fun movie. Love it. Miss Robin Williams.

My heart aches for Robin. I wish so many of us do, to have been there with him.

Great interview, i miss Robin so much, he was so awesome, loved his movies, and i feel so bad now knowing what he was going through, and was about to.

i never saw 'Mrs Doubtfire', but I always remember Lisa from 'Independence Day' - had me a little crush on her too when I was younger (!). Great interview, and great to see that she's ok and well.

wow, her experience is breathtaking. i live with depression, no addictions thankfully, and deal with very dark days and simply want to end it all. i can't say the day will come or not that i will end up taking my own life but i don't like living. this interview helps me to understand robin williams struggles, it's tough

Just watched this movie this weekend after seeing it in the theater 30 something years ago. I think being a father of teen kids I liked this movie way more this time around. Plus I miss RW .. RIP

This Movie will no doubt be a Keeper for many households across The World! Lisa Jakub is so spot on in saying she had truly "Found Her Siblings" in the movie as i'm sure many fans just like me actually think of the children as real life siblings! 25 years later and this movie still resonates! She's about to be 40?!? OMG, if I look half that good when I turn 40 I'll be there happiest person EVER!!! It looks like she's in her early to mid 30's... doesn't it? Who else agrees with me in this one???

I miss Robin so much. Depression is so misunderstood. I know that all to well. This one movie defined a time in my life. I will continue to watch it again and again. I wished for a long time that Robin as Mrs. Doubtfire could have been in another film. But now I realize that it wouldn't ever been as funny. Robin along with the cast made an unique one-of-a-kind movie.

I had almost the same experience that Lisa did as far as not recognizing Robin Williams. I was in a test group, and we were shown a clip from the movie (when he set his boobs on fire) and they asked us what we thought, would we go see it, etc. Not once did they say who it was. So months later, I see the clip on TV or somewhere, and I'm like, holy crap, that was Robin!

Had such a crush her on growing up and I do again now. Keep being great!
