No, it was this Mr. Turner. He was located, along with Minkus, that they were both in a part of the school "the others didn't go in." It was a joke. But they were talking about this Mr. Turner. Otherwise, they wouldn't have put it in.

Topanga complaining about that A- from a long time ago! I missed Mr. Turner, he was just below Mr. Feeny as one of my favorite teachers in this entire BMW/GMW universe!

I have to say, I think this might be the best overall episode of the series so far. A+ in my book. It was the most mature of any of the episodes, both in story and humor, yet it was still completely G rated (to appease Disney). THIS is what they need to aim more for in future episodes.

arim2011 I thought GM tell-tale-tot was a more mature episode as well. Given the network, the whole Maya/Josh storyline kind of surprises me :) But imagine what they could do if everything didn't have to be so watered-down?

arim2011 And that's exactly what they are going to be doing. As they enter high school next season, changes are apparently coming. I hope after season 3 finishes in 2017, they move the show to ABC Family. It'll do really well there and get to be more mature.

The overall show at the point this came out had some pretty good stuff especially the stuff involving Maya

I love that they brought in characters from the original show that fans have been asking to see. So that does make me wonder, will Jack and Rachel return? And will Shawn and Mr. Turner meet again?

If they bring in Rachel they should bring her in when they reveal Lucas' secret. Cory could call up Rachel to help Riley and Lucas through the reveal on both ends. She could teach Riley to not let it affect how she views Lucas and then teach Lucas to let it go or something of those lines. Because Rachel has a dark past too. She was a nude model.

Seeing Shawn, Eric, Mr. Turner, and the rest makes me so happy. I remember as a kid sitting and watching Boy Meets World with my dad every day

This brings back so many good memories of Mr Turner! Like when he made Corey's bully back off on his first day as a teacher. And how he took care of Shawn. I will always love this show!

I love how Mr. Turner probably has no idea he's sitting next to his future de facto granddaughter.

Mr. Turner: What are you teaching today? Corey: I dunno... I'll probably make something up. Yeesh, as a teacher myself, I felt that to my bones...

Love this show so much. Perfect balance of humor, morals, lessons, nostalgia & WARM FEELINGS INSIDE !!

Mr. Turner (Anthony Tyler Quinn) has aged, but his voice hasn't.

Cory looks so much like a 12-year old with Mr. Turner next to him. It's like 13 years never went by.

The greatest accomplishment for 'Girl Meets World' was letting us 90's kids know that Mr. Turner was okay.

Watching that scene had me flashing back to Corey and Shawn snoring in unison in his class.

This scene is so much funnier to me now! Why? Because I'm currently watching Boy Meets World in order (never watched it in order before), and the whole "Why would you lie to my kid" thing is not only funny but it holds a lot of truth. As I'm currently seeing, Cory barely tried hard in school.

MusicLover_KB u are so right from the beginning of the show to the end he was a slacker in school. He would sleep in class with Shawn too. But sometimes he would work as hard as he could. He wasn’t as bad of a slacker as Shawn. So it is funny that he became a teacher. Topanga would be who u would think would become a teacher.

That is one cutie of a teacher. Goodness.

This is the reason why I became a teacher, thank you Mr. Turner.

I know this show isn't suppose to be completely dependent on Boy Meets World, but I wish they could make an episode where it's all about Mr. Turner and Shawn tying up any loose ends. I mean come on, he's already done one with Angela. I wish they would more episodes that is all about typing up any loose ends. Blah blah blah yes yes yes, this is not suppose to be Boy Meets World 2.0, I already said that, but this show would be a good opportunity to tie up the loose ends that was left with BMW. Just go onto their IMDB page and look at the ratings for this episode, Mr. Squirrels Goes to Washington (Eric & Tommy reunion), and Girl Meets Coming Home For the Holidays (many of the casts returns). There's clearly a lot of people that is interested in these kinds of episodes.

I almost didn't recognize Mr Turner without his 90s mullet.

I laugh way to hard when I watch the end of this "You gave me an A- Once.....I want you to change it."

Wow, these scenes really felt like Boy Meets World did, both in terms of humor and heart. Girl Meets World sometimes feels a little overacted to me, but whenever more of the Boy Meets World cast shows up, the acting, tone, etc. seem to dial back a bit to what they should be. I do hope GMW continues, because I think it does have what it takes to reach that level of greatness BMW did

I hope they do another reboot in 20 years with the same cast. We've seen Corey as a young dad and teacher, it'd be interesting to see him as a veteran teacher and grandfather.

Lol media wokeness. Bro Shawn dressed like a girl and enjoyed it. Eric and Jack dressed like women multiple times. The show was what you consider woke. Jack and Eric was basically gay coded.

The interaction between Maya and Mr. Turner looks a lot like a meeting between a girl and her future grandfather. It reminds me of that Phil of the Future episode.

The last five seconds of this clip is the most Boy Meets World that Girl Meets World ever was.

"You gave me an A- once" ._.

Topanga: "why would you lie to my kid!" is the type of line that would come from a Boy Meets World episode.

James Chin yeah it probably makes more sense in the season 3 finale since Shawn isn’t in Season 2 very much Shawn’s only in 2 epsoides for Season 2,3 epsoides for Season 1 then 3 epsoides for Season 3. He’s only in 8 Epsoides total for the spin off series. So it makes more sense to have the Shawn and mr turner reunion be in the series finale of the spin off

I always hated how they wrote off Mr Turner after the motorcycle accident.

I’ll be honest, only time I watch girl meets world clips are when boy meets world characters make an appearance 😅. Mr turner hasn’t missed a beat… the way he pointed at Cory to answer his question took me back to when he was in 7th grade English. Man I miss those times.

The conversation between maya and Mr Turner, should have cemented the idea that Shaun did not need to be Maya dad in order to care for her. He did not need to marry Katie, for him to be able to care. Mr Turner was essentially Shaun's dad, but we didn't see him marry his mom or dad, in order to be officially responsible for him

+Alexina Yevu His hand did move in the hospital, giving hope to Shawn that he would live. Also, even though Cult Fiction was his last appearance on Boy Meets World, when Minkus reprised his role on graduation day (as did Joey and Frankie), he explained that he and Turner both were always around, they were just "in the other part of the school." He then gestured a wave to someone off screen and said, "Hey, Mr. Turner, wait up!" So, he was definitely alive on all accounts. He just hasn't reprised his role UNTIL NOW, in Girl Meets New Teacher.

There's a later episode where Shawn and Cory gesture offset, calling it "the other part of school," and remark about how anyone who goes there never comes back before saying "hi" to Mr. Turner and Minkus off-camera lol :)
