It will be kind of like an civil engineer doing labour workor or at most labor supervisor , just because he lost is job, given their qualification of graduating from film making school. There are quite few ways to increase views without changing their current KZread format and I think they kind of have idea about it. Anyway its all up to them for KZread format they like, as its their KZread channel, their responsibility and their result related to it

Hi Jimmy ! One of my ma's fav songs , the music reminds me of the butterflies in my dad's garden - he had many gardens where ever he was transferred being in the army - the houses that I stayed were old colonial ones made during the british times and they had lovely wide verandah where my mum used to sit in the evening listening to old songs being played on the radio .... by the way we get thandi hawa ( cool breeze) after a heavy monsoon rain here and those days are the best after the sweltering heat of the indian summer :) Oh ! i was found usually hanging upside down from a tree trunk ....there were many trees in his garden na !! So much nostalgia this song has brought today! Thank you Jimmy and Buddy :)

You should watch the songs from Albela, the Bhagwan - Gita Bali film. The song Shaam dhale khidki taley was such a hit that they say the next one to be such a hit was Ek do teen in 1987. The other song that will have the Buddymeister swaying is Bholi surat dil ke khote. Hope you watch those.

The golden age of melody in Indian movies. Simple song structure. Not an experiment in scales, key changes or rhythm breakdowns. Pure mellifluous renditions that reach our souls. Unfortunately captions don't do justice to the lyrical composition of this masterpiece. A lot gets lost in translation as every language has its own idiosyncracies, cultural references & metaphors that are almost impossible to capture. Even transcribing doesn't help. Since language is immaterial here I suggest you try out Bengali songs from that era. Geeta Dutt was a Bengali singer actually. In fact till the '80s a lot of Hindi film (I hate the term Bollywood) songs used to be "tested' in Calcutta before getting released in Bombay due to the presence of many actors, singers, producers & directors from Bengal.

Hi Jimmy and Dennis, Lovely to see you continue with 50s and 60s songs. Btw, OP Nayyar was such a superstar that when he was at his peak, he demanded and got his name showcased before the hero. Unheard of and never repeated. One of his super-duper hit films was Kashmir ki Kali - you E reviewed that methinks - Sharmila’s debut film. Overall it was a ghastly film but with hit songs. One of them, a Rafi number, Hai Duniya Usiki Zamana Usika, ‘sung’ by the drunk Shammi Kapoor, drowning his sorrows. It has the most memorable saxophone work in any Hindi film song. It also has marvellous lip-syncing by Shammi. It’s a song with much melodrama and drunken stumbling, but with masterful overacting that only he was capable of carrying off. Rajesh Khanna tried, but was never as spontaneous as Shammi sa’ab. Do watch.
