Ray Shoesmith ‘takes care of people’ - collecting debts, relieving them of drugs and guns, and often taking care of them on a more permanent basis. Ray demands respect and does not tolerate others disregarding his very clear code of ethics. As Ray’s increasingly volatile work collides with his imploding personal life, he finds himself struggling to stay atop the complex web he has woven.

this is brilliant. from the script, to the scene, to the location, the acting, choice of actors, tones in use, quality of script. this is solid gold.
Great show. I binge watched all 3 seasons and now I’m bummed there’s no more.

The food is shite, kicking the feck out of someone is the side bonus...
What I like are these casual/sincere conversations people have in the show. Like what it’s like to have children who are pre-teens and what felt like a short time ago they needed you to do almost everything for them. Then slowly they figure out how to do things on their own and it’s great, but then they start wanting to do everything on their own.

One of the best crime shows to ever come out of Australia. Should be up there with the greats.

such a great show! Hope to see season 4!!
I loved this show .. I'm a Florida guy and we absolutely loved the show 😢
is this the dude yelling "tuckerrrrr, tuckerrrr" from breaking bad? XD
What a great show, keeps you wanting more.
Note how Ray says he has "a mate" looking into it, but doesn't say who. He doesn't want Freddy knowing too much about his new wingman. Ray never fully trusted Freddy again after the guy unwittingly hired an undercover cop. From that point on, when it came to Freddy, Ray was hedging his bets
It's true. I experienced a big tough guy inside, telling me he feared no-one. One day three gang "prospects" walked into his cell and did exactly what was ordered - a good hiding but nothing permanent, and all for free, not 10k.

He's done several shows in the US and Australia. Very versatile, good actor. Did you see him in Vegas, a short lived show with Dennis Quaid as the Sheriff of Las Vegas in the 50's? He played a hit man.

Dewey with an aussie accent.
I don't know how it is in Australia, but this was one of the most unbelievable scenes to me as an American. Here they record everything! So you probably shouldn't be talking about this stuff in the prison visiting room 😂😅😮
