He played Probst, whole production and the whole audience cause you never know if hes serious, hes kidding or somewhere in the middle. Really unique character in the franchise and thanks to him I call Thailand the dark psychological thriller version of survivor(eventhough there was nothing thrilling about result he had it in the bag but stuff like Tedd/Ghandia makes for good thriller. That's why it's a perfect game. Not only you got to have the presence of mind on whose the biggest threat and who's gonna flip on you. You also need to make sure to win one of the most important aspect of the game and that is the immunity. How many players played a perfect game till they didn't win the final immunity? True but I also don't think they were going to do anything with that knowledge. If they were then you take Clay out at 5 yet that plan really went nowehere. He remained everyone's number 1 ally honestly and there wasn't a moment where they really could put the pieces together. Even at 5 Helen's was mad Brian thought she was plotting against him when the play even before he won immunity was to maybe take out Clay, and basically force Brian to take someone other than Clay to the end (which he might still win).

I would consider Brian as Neutral Evil. "The neutral evil is an unscrupulous, self-serving character who is only out for himself. Power, glory, wealth, position, and anything that will make his life more comfortable is his goal. It matters not who gets caught in the middle, as long as he comes out smelling like a rose." Brian never did anything chaotic; he was just playing to win and didn't care about how many relationships were broken as long as the goal was achieved.

For example the shelter conflict between Jerri and Rupert, the survivor audience like already hated Jerri and loved Rupert so is that a factor? Like in the intro he's clear hes not using future seasons or post-game interviews in the analysis but I'm interested to know how past seasons will factor in when they become relevant. Dude, your videos bring back some great memories. I think I've watched the first 8 seasons religiously, then kinda took a break, then Heroes vs Villains came out and I caught up on the remaining seasons, then continued watching up until the first Blood vs Water, then full stop. With Winners at War I think I might jump back in on this show. Over the years we've seen some amazing characters, plots, twists, strategies, and Brian was one of the most stone cold players ever. I always tried to imagine how he'd do against some more dangerous players, both as a first time player and especially as a returning former winner. How would he fare against an opponent like Parvati or while being in a tribe minority facing elimination? Too bad we won't get to see that. Your content is amazing and I hope you keep up the great work. I can't wait to see your take on the following four seasons, especially the stories of "Dr. Cesternino and Matthew von Frankenstein" and the revenge tale of Chris Daugherty.

So I just finished watching HvV, and I had an idea for some future videos. What if you made videos for certain characters that have multiple season arcs, like Jerri, Colby, and Tyson. Your channel centers around the story of these characters, and that is was gave me this idea. I know that you are currently going through the seasons chronologically, and I love it, but thought this might be a really interesting video topic down the line. Also great video, by far one of my favorites so far!

Your videos are really well done and often the highlight of my Monday afternoons. I can't wait to see all the videos you'll do on the rest of the seasons (whenever you get to them, of course), and see how you classify/analyze some of more interesting characters/winners (especially underrated ones such as Natalie White) as well as the evolution of the game itself. Jaison was one of only a few people on that merge tribe he had a chance of beating, a fact that is only compounded by... 2. He put Shambo on the jury, the ultimate goat of that season. Now not only can he not sit next to her, the jury has to hear her lecturing them about Russell's game. 3. He made a promise to Brett that he had absolutely no reason to make. It actually hurt Russell's game to make that promise, because he knows he's not going to honor it, so all he's doing is kicking Brett in the dick out the door. Russell got that screen time because he was the most entertaining player on the show. However, he made far too many boneheaded decisions to ever win the game. Compare that to Natalie, who saw that all the women who opposed Russell drop like flies, realised "you know what, my best play is to keep my head down and let the bull loose on the China shop." Then, when the tribes merged, she was able to bond with the other tribe in a way the rest of the Foa Foa 4 couldn't and launch a successful "at least I'm not that asshole" campaign. Granted, it wasn't the most flashy way to play, which is why she didn't get many confessional's, but you can't deny that it was effective.

I am finally actually watching the show for the first time ever on Paramount+ after a couple of years of watching Survivor KZread. I started at season one and I got to season five expecting to be impressed by how cutthroat Brian was. But honestly imo he didn’t really do anything that a modern survivor wouldn’t do. Which is why he was great. I never watched modern survivor because I never liked the idol stuff and so on. It messes up people's strategy and it puts less emphasis on strategy but more emphasis on luck & drama. So I dont know much anything beyong season 15 but to me from all the contestants I have watched he was the best. Him & Tom Westman were the best players. The ones like Rob Mariano or Sandra Diaz. They were great strategists but they were also brutal & hated by the jury. Brian was so good with the charms that all his previous allies voted for him. Brian on the other hand, even though some people were dissatisfied with him, nobody hated him. His Ice Man persona is what makes his game so good.

His nickname is Mr. Freeze, and he treated the game like a business trip. Following his win, Heidik was arrested in 2006 due to animal cruelty charges after allegedly shooting a puppy with a bow and arrow. He wasn't here to make friends, he was here to win. And he had all of the tools to do so. While the season overall was fairly boring (mainly due to the cast being blah), Brian's gameplay was very good. Plus, he was the first to use the GOAT strategy, and he doesn't really get the credit he deserves for that. (Except in this video, thank you!) You can't judge his win or his season based on what he may have done afterwards. Is he the most upstanding human being we've seen on the show? No. Is he a deserving winner who played his cards right and dominated the game at all of the right times? Absolutely.

From my point of view, Brian misspelled road-trip on purpose while yelling out the answer to Ted because he felt winning the car would lessen his chances of winning the million. I remember him on Melrose place he sleeps with the psycho that blows up the apartment building he was the pool guy... I also remember him in lionheart he played the drug dealer. This was a good survivor everything after this season sucks. Didnt care for all stars come on they have already been on the show.
