This reminds me at 1980-1984 when I learned and became a professional Radio- & TV Service Technician and one of my first bigger tasks was to measure the frequence response characteristics of bass, middle and high tone speakers, developing the best 3-way frequency separating filter for them, and then manufactured a mini serie (50 pairs) of those passive 3-way speaker systems which sounds better and were 3x cheaper than mass produced good quality HiFi stereo speaker systems of Dual and Heco

La vedad, y por cierto ese subwoofer es de la marca Bowers & Wilkins y es muy buena, aunque si cuesta una buena pasta

I cant believe those filter caps were still good!! Def would have upgraded them if it was my project to at least double that capacitance. The driver restore impressed me most, was that the original voice coil or a replacement?

Don't double up your PSU caps without checking if the rectifier/soft start can take it.

я всегда убираю центрирующую шайбу( фсё равно магнитное поле центрирует дифузор) и резонанс падает до 30гц и отдача на 6дб увеличивается а динамик ставлю только в трубу диаметром с дифузор и длиной 120см( резонанс 30гц) это чв с отдачей 110дбвт - динамик только в обратную связь усилителя через резистор 0,15 ом - коэфициент усиления 30 -это ООС по току потому что динамик должен управляться током а не напряжением

i’m not sure what they use, i always use a small bottle with a slant tip, filled with acetone. I apply small amounts and the glue easily separates. That method has worked well for the last 25yrs. Hope that’s of some use for you.
