Yes! it's the proper use of the right notes, Richie is very much melodic. His solos always complement the vocals.
Ritchie Blackmore continues to inspire guitarists the world over and it gives rise to such great players as Kotzen, Malmsteen, etc, etc, who want to take his playing a bit further to see what they can do. A Great rock classic track from a legendary band 'Deep Purple' given full respect by quality rock musicians from an awesome rock band 'Mr Big'. Axe heaven:-).
What a band!!! What a cover!!! Pat Torpey does not get enough love 💞 They are all masters, each one of them This is hope for humanity
I normally hate sweeping and arpegios like that but this this my friends its an awesome guitar solo... I can listen to this all day

Mr. Blackmore set the blueprint in 1974. People still appreciating and using over 40 years later. genius

personally I consider Kotzen a guitarist of respect and high level despite his musical influences, his own style that implements his playing is definitely versatile rivaling paul gilbert . clear is my high respect for paul gilbert is of excellent standard and very clever when composin

Es un tema genial "Burn" de Deep Purple pero Mr.Big fue su revolución teniendo el cambio de el órgano al bajo la cual estuvo muy bien de parte mía,ademas de que la guitarra es muy pesada,en conclusión es el mejor cover que he oído de Deep Purple.

foxyanton ２年も前のコメントなのに失礼します ギターソロは途中、スウィープピッキングという奏法が使われており、音的には｢とぅるるるとぅるる｣みたいな感じで鳴るのでオルガンっぽい音かなっておもいます。

foxyanton エフェクターではなくフロントピックアップですよ。 それに歪みが少ないけど一音一音がはっきりしているのでオルガンの様に聴こえます。

実際このソロをコピーしたことがありますが、その部分はブリッジミュートをかけてのスキッピングプレイからのスウィープアルペジオですね。特にエフェクターを使ってという訳ではなく寧ろ歪みを抑え絶妙なブリッジミュート加減とノイズを極限まで省く事にによりオルガンのようなサウンドになっています。

Great solo from Richie k, very hard to pull of with he's tone but it just doesn't sound like the mr big I know and love so thank f Paul Gilbert is back ripping it up....no disrespect to Richie tho.

Great guitar solos, but why not play the Burn riff correctly? It just sounds stupid played the way he's playing it here.
