Mr.Beast Definitely has ADHD with the amount of obsession. keep that in mind next time people try to limit your success.

Kids unequivocally do NOT believe they'll be a loser if they struggle in school. The exact opposite. They rationalize every way they can to justify how bad they're doing and consuming stories like Mr. Beast's don't help. The educational standards in America have plummeted because of our growing and diverse demographics, so there is no reason to struggle in school even if you're the type of student who isn't going to college.

I disagree - there’s individuals who realize that the $100,000 degree they’re aspiring to get, or essentially forced to get by their family, is placing them in an incredible financial disadvantage. Who wants to pay student loans off into their 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s? Schools fail to teach financial literacy. The narrative of study hard, get good grades, and get a safe stable job with good benefits is being questioned these days. One can enter a trade or start their own business and be leaps and bounds ahead by the time they’re age 24+… it’s like walking versus flying in regard to finances.

You're confusing schooling with education. He's more educated than the majority of the population and never went to higher schooling.

My son comes home from school says he’s stupid, he wants to be a rapper but he’s only 9 suspected Asperger’s . At one point he wanted to be black . His grasp of the world is better than any rich man or woman I have ever met but he lives in the world of black and white. His drawing of a spider had 3 legs , his thought was the other three were hidden behind the other side . Teacher yelled at him to re draw . I think by 18 we are all ruined by our teachers and our parents.

@@eighthnotch_ I'm having trouble following your point. I think your analysis of current state of education is CORRECT but it definitely is NOT why kids struggle or give up. Would you agree these are not mutually exclusive?
