Hell yeah, let’s get it!!!

I am in Marlboro county SC. About twelve miles out from my town is a another little town in the same county called Blenheim. It’s really more of a rural community but it is considered a town because it has a post office, a school and a couple of stores also churches. This section of the county borders neighboring Dillon county. Just across the Marlboro/Dillon county line is another rual community called Bingham and it’s famous for a spook light that’s been seen in that aera for over a century and maybe longer than that. The legend is that a railroad worker fell on the tracks and the train cut off his head. This was way back when the passenger train pass through Bingham. The tracks are long gone but you can tell at one time they were there. The light is supposed to be this man using his lantern trying to find his head. I can’t say for sure if it’s a ghost or not but the light is real. I have seen it many times. You have to turn off down this long creepy looking dirt road. You have to drive for a good ten minutes. There are old trees with long gnarled branches and spanish moss hanging from them eventually you reach an open field with more trees in the distance. You have to go at night to see it. It’s a big ball of white light and almost move like it’s dancing. It sometimes breaks up into several smaller lights then comes back together to make one big light. It can move really fast. It can disappear in an instant then then reappear in the opposite direction. I have never been in the summer months. We always went in the fall near Halloween but it suppose to be more active in the summer months.

@@Quentins184 I can’t really say that. I have never known of anyone being hurt by it. Most likely a natural phenomenon. These “spook” lights and the legends surrounding them have been reported in a lot of places.

Spooky Galore 😳

Me & my gf and two other couples went camping near Glacier Park. Three tents, we were all getting sleepy & snuggly. Zzzzz. The ex-military black best friend says real loud "there's an animal outside my tent." Oh God it's probably a griz. (It turned out to be a pack of coyotes.) They raided our gear. Pretty sure none of us got laid except the coyotes.

I was laughing my ass off when you were popping off about black people not going camping. When I was a HS my youth group went on a big camping trip, I asked one of my best friends to go with me. He immediately started hollering at me, "maaandy I am not going camping you have lost your mind. Dont you know black people dont go camping! Out of all those jason movies you seen how many black people were camping?" I couldn't think of one. He said, "see yall just borrowing trouble. Ima stay my black ass at home were its safe." He was mumbling something about "do i want .... camping.... girl lost her mind." I thought my dad was going to fall out of his chair he was laughing so hard. 😂😂 I forgot about that.
