I know we (as viewers) have the benefit of thinking about what we would do in this situation without actually BEING in that situation. When Mr.Ballen said something about them eventually needing to fall asleep, I was just thinking that before they get to that point of exhaustion, they should have taken turns sleeping for an hour or so at a time while the other stays awake and makes sure the one who's sleeping doesn't start falling from the tree. They could have done this off and on. Atleast that hour nap (every few hours or so) would be enough to prevent them from both falling asleep at the same time.

There maybe a a reason why they never found Brett’s body. Crocodiles dig stash holes underwater where they place food to feed on later. Chances are when the crocodile returned without Brett, the damn thing buried him to eat later.

I hear ya! Watching shit like this, definitely makes me appreciate being Canadian 🇨🇦. Lol We don't have to worry about crocodiles, alligators, other crazy shit in the water, no poisonous/deadly insects, snakes or spiders. I've never had to worry about something venomous biting me, or some predatory animal attacking me... and I love it thay way! 😆

Australians say the same about Bears. The REALLY big Bears, are the same size as the REALLY big Crocodiles. Bot weigh over 2,000+ pounds.

I live in Southern West Virginia! We do have rivers and streams, and we have our shares of steaks, bears and deer and such. But I’m glad to report, best of my knowledge, we have no crocodiles. Hence, while I will never move further south in the United States!

First, great reaction video! Second, this is why I do not go near water that is not a pool or a bathtub! Those crocs are no joke. And the one described in this video is one of the small ones! I have seen video of those suckers being as big as 20 feet long and waiting over 2000 pounds the biggest one that I’ve ever seen was in an Australian river that crocodile had to be at least, in the 30 foot range and look like it weighed about 3000! That’s why I’m like “nope! I will keep my black ass on land, in the United States, and away from the south!“

These kids were young and dumb. Every Aussie knows you dont go near the water up north. Even the northern beaches have crocs so you dont swim in the ocean up top either.

What is really scary is that 13' long isn't even close to the top sizes Salt water crocs grow to!The biggest ever CAUGHT & BROUGH INTO CAPTIVITY was 20'3" long!!! & weighed in at 1,075kg (2,370lb) As to what it would've done with the first lad (Bret). The Saltie would've taken his body to a small hidey hole nearby to store it for later. That body alone could've sustained the crocs life for 6-12 months. It could've also jumped 3 quarters of it's whole length (so about 8'-9') out of the water, straight upwards. Great reaction, Swaggy & much love from the UK

Yep. Unless you hit it in the variable spot like the eye, you might as well be shooting at a bulletproof vest! With legs and teeth!
