Congratulations for your anniversary. I taught I was young with my wife to be married 13 years ago. I have 37 years old and we have 3 kids 12 7 and 5. Professional means if you standing in the shower and you see drain is not line up pro needs to make it in perfect line like you did. Perfection is the key for success. I know something about it like you.

@TileCoach i remember one of your videos that i watched years ago. You talked about finding a career that fits you. I was so miserable with my job after 15+ years in healthcare (frontlines of the pandemic) and i took your advice and started doing what i enjoyed, working in the trades. Now i'm much happier being a construction inspector.

Congratulations! My wife and I celebrated our 25th last year, can't beat it when you are going through life with a great person by your side! I redone my master bath, thanks to a leaking shower pan. Having over 30 years experience as an electrical contractor, architectural and electrical engineer made redoing the bathroom buildout simple, but I was still concerned about the large shower never doing tile before. After watching many Tilecoach videos, I went for it. After much research I decided the Tile Redi pan was the way to go so I ordered a custom size Tile Redi pan with linear drain in the center. Turned out awesome. Being an architectural engineer, I am now working on complete renovations of one of the largest well know golf course hotels on the east coast where every room has a large shower, may be specifying Tile Redi pans throughout.

Hey Chris! You are so correct, I feel like I always have a partner in whatever I'm going through. Congrats on your 25 years. Being a contractor myself, I can see why the Tile Redi would be such a good choice for a hotel remodel. Most importantly the assurance that there won't be any leaks in the pan because the splash wall, curb and drain are integrated. Also, the speed factor. One crew could probably install 15 pans or so in one day, ready for tile. Lastly, the durability of the high density polyurethane foam allows for other trades to work on or around the pan after it is installed.

You two needed a break, however, I know your on the trail for tile , it’s in your blood 🩸 😂

A tiler can’t really be on a break, right, your tile-eyes are always on. 👉 Question please: can the wrong color of Mapei grout be corrected after dried? Had to rebuild after storm. First contractor did all floors with wood-looking tiles but almond grout (the selected one was dark brown, like tiles, to blend in) Could we add a thin layer of dark grout, or it tint it? Can it be rescued???? We already had to demo all the new kitchen flooring, wrong leveling and uneven tiles (by 1/2 “!!!), hoping for an easy solution. It hurts the eyes to walk in the house and see it like a shower stall, can see each individual piece. Also, dirt and stains.

Coach I have a question. I had a hotmop done in a shower Im building and I need to know do you apply the liquid membrane to the dry pack when it is over a hotmop or do you only do the edges over the fabric membrane leaving the center uncovered.
