@@WeFullTime I have a question for you man. I can't find simple info on How to record in MPC live 2 from Arturia keylab essential (Analog Lab software has some amazing sounds). How do we record in MPC live 2 from Arturia (Analog Lab) as Audio track? Or there are other ways to do it? What cables in which case? I own an Arturia keylab essential 61 and MPC live 2; i was thinking of selling the Arturia but one evening i laid out an drum pattern and then i connected the laptop in the sampler inputs as you would sample as usual, it's awesome how i was playing the two! Now i doubt selling the keyboard, i just can't figure out how to record in MPC live 🤦 Sampling the sounds from the laptop ( Analog Lab) could be an option but is there any other way we can do it such as audio track, or in the Looper functions? Also the cables man, don't forget the cables 😩 What would you say to dummies like me?!😩 Much appreciated!

@@iulian9072 You have a couple of options, the first one is you can always use the MPC Live II in Controller Mode and bounce the midi to audio. Second you can record the Audio from your audio interface into the MPC via the Sampler or using the Audio Track itself. Akai shows in the video below how to record audio using the available 8 tracks. Thanks for the vid , I was trying to follow along but I need help , I've downloaded all the expansions I have and default ones onto my mpc software and I'm tryna get them on the live 2 itself but the expansions don't even show up un the software daw like im super confused. They're all downloaded and installed but not poppin up in the Daw , a few are but that's it's

Bro good look for posting. I’m using a Mac and My issue is that my files are only the folder, a 1.0.0 pkg, and an exe file. So I’m having trouble installing expansions to the MPC software. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you very much. As some stuff were already into MPC, this procedure creates duplicate files and folders, in different places (SSD, internal)… I know we can not manage with internal memory, so, for leaving space and don’t have confusion in the future with files with the same name, is it better delete all repeated stuff at SSD? Thanks in advance…

I have the same computer, I have not had a problem with the MPC Software since I updated. some 3rd party plugins not working, missing launch pad icons, were the only problems I had. The recent update fixed the missing icon problems. I've been working mainly standalone though.

Hi you said the folder is used primarily for standalone use, is there a way to install the folder into the mpc software? as i no longer have the installation file.

You might have to use MPC Expansion Builder to recreate the file

Hey when you buy akai expansions from Akai aren't they supposed to be linked to your account, like when you login in you can see them? I bought 3 expansions for the site, I have them installed but I don't see them in my actual Akai account but I have them saved on a back up harddrive. I think Akai's shop might be glitched

How do I navigate to the mpc internal hard drive or ssd? I exported all my expansions to the hard drive but soon as I go standalone their gone

Try exporting the expansions to the ssd from the software.
