Where do get the Harmonizer?

The notes at the beginning are an mpc feature, which can be disabled. It will capture anything you hit during the count in and place it at the beginning. Caught me off guard too!

Nice introduction to the MPC ONE audio. What is the connection to your interface? We are relatively new. We installed the MPC ONE software on windows 10 Laptop, Presonus 24c with midi, and Studio One 5.3. If this is too much to ask for in this session. We thank you for the add inspiration 🙏🏿.

Really cool. Is Harmonizer installed on Live 2 or X?

She is like trying not to say that you can forget about to use that harmonizer preset in that case.🤣🤣🤣

Great that you tested the external interface in this way. This delay, is in the recording you sad. But then you sliced it. Is the delay issue then not fixed? Or is the delay happening at playback that there is no plugin compensation done by the mpc? Or because you also put the Electron into it?

Exactly what I thought how can there a be a delay when you sliced the samples?? There has to be a bit on zero volume on the waveform but that can't be. So the delay can never come from the recording.

Can i do this on my mpc live 2?

This is real dope. About to purchase an mpc live two, however I’ve read that my motu interface may not work with the mpc? Any idea on this? Thanks again for the great video.

@@TeftyMeems well I’m not buying a new interface to just record vocals or sounds through an mpc. My iPad is my main workflow, so I’ll keep that in mind. The mc 707 is looking like an option for me now more than ever… deciding what to buy is the hardest part.

Yeah I think the live 2 is fantastic standalone. The audio interface support is nice for breaking tracks out in real-time, but I prefer the native outputs.

Maybe still early in development, but there is a "motu-avb-usb" project on GitHub which claims Linux USB driver for the MOTU AVB series interfaces. Might be worth keeping an eye on.

wow, that's cool. can the harmonizer be applied sporadically to only a certain words or senteces during the song instead of the whole tune like you did? e.g: 2nd verse of 'peacefull easy feeling by the Eagles': "and I found out a long time ago".

Yeah you’d have to automate the plugin on and off, OR make a secondary track with the specific phrases you want harmonized 👍

Yup! Any keyboard should work for typing. We use a cheap $30 wireless keyboard plugged into the MPC hub for quick typing.

I also find some of the synths are low in gain

That delay is too much ----- Anything more than 6 ms is a problem. It would sound better without the harmonizer. Her voice is excellent. Bag the harmonizer.
