I love the way he plays, it's so light it seems he's playing for friends in a picnic in the park. It shows he's really connected with the instrument.

It is probably because, in my opinion, Wolgang Amadus is irradiated by God's light and has given us so much wonderful music that those who practice it from the heart rarely fail.
So light so elegant so eloquent, so sparkly. Gives me chills every time.
The spirit of Mozart’s music is an awesomely harmonious mix of Beauty and Simplicity.
Pourquoi le beau semble-t-il toujours facile, sans effort? Et pourtant, une telle maitrise est le résultat de tant d'efforts. Merci François, pour nous laisser fermer les yeux, nous laisser bercer, et rêver.
I played the Clairnet, Oboe and the English Horn from 1954 when I was 5, in elementary school. When I was 8 I learned the Oboe then English Horn. I continued to play through High School. But when I turned 18, I was drafted into the Army and after "2 1/2" years in Vietnam I lost my love of Classical Music, which I inherited from my father. Never did pick up the instruments again, to my deepest regrets. Especially after listening all day to these Oboe pieces. This was a treat for me. It was LOVE made audible.

It's awesomely blessing that Mozart’s music inspiration is absolutely far beyond that of human being.

at this point of his career this piece is more a part of his muscle memory than his "brain memory". Its one of the most played pieces for an oboist, so he had to play it very often and its more likely part of his routine. But nevertheless its amazing ;)
sometimes learning an instrument is not easy YOU must LOVE the instrument YOU must feel the instrument and YOU must UNDERSTAND the instrument ! and he did just that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

from someone who doesnt listen to this type of music often this was phenomenal
もう、オーボエが身体と一体化してるよ、、 だって呼吸してるかのように、、、羽毛が飛んでいるような軽やかで、でもしんがある音を出している、、こんな人なかなかいないよ。
Music is supposed to please our ears and this does so delightfully. But there is something so completely dazzling about watching this man make music. His merriness and joy in every note couldn’t be more infectious and adorable. Even before he begins he conveys his joy with the orchestra by glancing around with an expression that seems to say nothing more than ‘isn’t it so much fun to make music!’ I find myself going to this video again and again. And his long sustained notes!!!!! A kaleidoscope of gorgeous colors passes by…as a pianist I can only covet and hope to suggest the illusion he achieves with one breath.

I started listening to this as "background" to some writing work. What a ludicrous idea! I was of course immediately drawn in to the astonishing performance. But when I came back to my writing after it was over, I found myself more articulate than before, and - unsurprisingly - better equipped to phrase things effectively. In every way an outstandingly beautiful piece.

This oboe concerto composed by Mozart certainly highlights the range of the oboe in the skillful hands of Francois Leleux. It is another work that we can be thankful that Mozart composed. Living to only 35, his output was certainly stunning. One can just sit back and enjoy a craftsman ply his musical trade.
When I listen to Mozart’s music, I feel “ Beauty and Simplicity” are being melted into like an eternal crystal in my heart ❤
Best performance of this lovely oboe concerto that I've seen...Leleux literally embodies the lyricism of the music, especially the joyously playful Rondo. (Burrow brought me here)
I'm here because of Pixar's short "Burrow." And also because my music teacher got me hooked on Orozco-Estrada. Gracias, señor Estrada, tremendo talento!! Truly one of the great conductors of all time. And I'm also here because Mozart and how sunny this thing is.

THIS MAN IS PHENOMENAL. I'VE NEVER HEARD ANYONE BETTER. ASTOUNDINGLY MUSICAL WITH AMAZING TECHNIQUE. I COULD LISTEN TO HIM PLAY 24-7 & NEVER BE BORED. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL TONE. HIS PLAYING IS SO EFFORTLESS.
Maestro Leleux is simply amazing in this performance. I was so intrigued with the oboist behind him on the right, at times with his expressions as you could tell that he was so impressed with the soloist's talent as I'm sure he would definitely appreciate the mechanics and difficulty of what was being done at certain parts of the performance. Truly I found this such an amazing performance by all. The best of this piece I've ever heard. I was so caught up with it that I found myself standing in my living room at the end joining the audience applause shouting bravo, bravo. I will likely never get to travel to hear such talented people perform live, but I am truly thankful to God that I'm living in a time in history where I can still enjoy the marvelous talent that he has bestowed on so many precious people around the world. What a gift!

The thing is... the oboists in the orchestra are no worse than Leleux. All professional oboists will have studied the Mozart concerto at some point in their lives and performed it to the same standard. It is a requirement on many orchestral auditions. The oboists in the orchestra are just doing their job just as Leleux is.
Sublime. I've played the oboe for 40 years and know this concerto like the back of my hand - but this is simply off the scale for skill, innovation and pure humour!
Oboist here. When the Rondo started, i thought, "Oh NO! this is WAY too fast!" But Orozco-Estrada convinced me; those cadenzi were... it was as if he had summoned a spirit to play! Gods, the whole orchestra played with such unbelievable lightness and precision!
この曲聞いてるといつも途中で寝ちゃうんだけど、フランソワさんのは何故か最後まで集中して聞けてしまった。 音楽ド素人をここまで惹き付けるのはやはり凄い。
I’m in awe of his abilities to let the oboe and him be one. Something for me to aspire to when playing my oboe. His musicality is undeniable as is his joy in playing such a wonderful piece. The oboists are enjoying his performance as did I.

The Leleux' cadence in 1 st came from another world... especially when you how the oboe is difficult in the upper high pitch, above high E. outstanding , may be the greatest oboe player nowadays.
His style reminds me of how Dennis Brain played horn concertos. A bit light, even playful. And more with the orchestra than trying to be on top of it. Just superb.
