It was music... finished as no music is ever finished. Displace one note, and there would be diminishment. Displace one phrase, and the structure would fall. It was clear to me, that sound I had heard in the arch-bishop's palace had been no accident. Here again... was the very voice of God.

These were first and only drafts of music, but they showed no correction of any kind, not one. He'd simply written down music already finished in his head. Page after page as if he were taking dictation. I was staring through the cage of those meticulous ink strokes at an absolute beauty.

Nope, still just frequencies vibrating our ears and being transferred into data the brain can interpret. Nothing magical at all and yet even that isn't enough to remove any of the majesty and beauty of this piece. It transcends culture

It IS Magical! (the ORIGIN of the vibrations is where those identifying consciousness and Mind with the body get thrown off)... people are waking up to this fact.

@@Thetruepianomanit’s obviously not just frequencies. This is only one aspect of understanding it. That the human experience of this creation is so deeply felt centuries later is not just a byproduct - it is the reason it was made, and this shared reaction is as real as the frequencies and vibrations you described. Those “physical” facts do not exist on some truer plane of reality, with the human experience being a secondary occurrence.

At least he composed over 600 pieces for the flute , including 2 flute concertos. This is the only piece he composed for the harp. Thank goodness for the Duke of Guines, who was an excellent flutist, commissioning Mozart to compose this concerto so he can perform with his daughter, a harpist. So rare. So incredibly beautiful. So Mozart.
