Thanh you friend! I’m sick about my dang on desk 😭 but it’s in the way and when I leave here, God’s will, I’ll be in a house and she can’t go there anyway do imma let her go now 😭

I also hate bath mats. Best solution: STONE BATH MATS. They don’t get soggy and they dry in, like, SECONDS. (I think they’re made from a material called diatomaceous)

Agree on this, bath mats feels like high maintenance, I usually advice my clients to have stone bath maths

Used to live in that neighborhood and loved it.

I have stopped talking to people about it. So many black folks have a idc tone. I will stop talking to people who say they dont care. Im so emotional about it. Its so sad. I cant take it.

I just don’t get it! Like I feel their pain on a personal level, as a Black doubly systematically oppressed woman! I don’t see how any Black American or Caribbean and even throughout the continent of Africa not sympathize and empathize and feel affected by oppression/genocide/apartheid…it’s crazy to me!

Instead of a fabric bath mat, maybe you could try one of the wooden mats. I can’t stand touching wet fabrics in my bathroom either and it’s the best alternative.

I went from how can she do it, that is a lot of scaling down, ( You have beautiful furniture so it would be so hard for me lol) to oh man she got me wanting to scale down! LOL

I’m so sad about my desk but I’m trying to think positive. Part of scaling down is because I want to spend the next year and a half to two years or so saving and when I leave here it’ll be for a home I’ve bought. The desk can’t come there because we buying the good, good..so imma close my eyes when she leaves out the door 😭

I think your closet has room for two IKEA dressers that way you can utilize the top racks for other things and put away your folded clothes. Congrats

I thought about that, but as you can see, I have to get rid of sh*t every time I move so I’m done shopping for specific spaces…be wasting my money 😩 the plan is the next move will be something I own and I can buy forever furniture ✊🏾
