I use to live in Eugene, Sadly i wouldn't recomened moving there because there is a worrying amount of crime... Like you shouldn't even leave your kids unsupervised, period But there are some wonderful people there too. Just another example of our two-faceness..heheh

If anyone asked Lakeview is also an amazing little town with wonderful people We have 100 (f) degree weather in August-October And 3 ft worth of snow in winter-April Tall mountains, a ski hill Great schools Love it here

We spent 5 weeks in Lakeview. My husband works remotely so we decided to leave Portland & stay in different towns in the state. Our Airbnb was out in the West Side area of Lakeview even tho it’s not really Lakeview. Lol we went to town every Saturday for lunch at the Burger Queen. So good. We thought about moving there. But ended up settling in Bend. Good thing we did bc I was diagnosed with breast cancer 5 mths after we moved here. I actually met a lady from Lakeview who had to travel all the way here for her cancer treatments. Nice little town tho

Hi, I am a native Oregonian. I have always kind of cringed at those who do not pronounce the name correctly. There is no "gone" in Oregon. It is pronounced Ory gun. Or, Oree gun. No gone here. And, no I do not carry. Please try to say the name more correctly. BTW - I do love your videos. Please keep sharing about all of the states. I love that.

I would agree with most of the people here. Portland last year has gotten pretty bad. Some places are still good to be but the homeless has increased since 04 which was the last time i visited. And medford nice place to visit bit not to live also. Eugene, Corvallis,salem are the 3 best places I would move too. But not sure about the other places since i have not been there .

I am currently house hunting in Oregon----NONE of these prices are accurate....and Ashland is 12 miles SOUTH of Medford.

Where in south texas are you? I live in Mcallen and it's ok but for me, It's way too hot and there's nothing to do. I'm in outdoors person, I love to hike, camp, beaches ,see different things, experience the 4 seasons, sceneries, moody settings. Oregon is a place I'm considering of going.

She missed talking about the 5th street market for eugene, great place, someone owns the whole complex.

Ashland is SOUTH of Medford. Might try pronouncing "Oregon," "Willamette," "Eugene" etc. the correct way.

The pronunciations are insane.

The person narrating this video keeps mispronouncing Oregon, Willamette and several other city names. You couldn't find someone that has lived in Oregon to narrate this video.

First of all, you pronounced them wrong, it's Eugene (u-gene) with now silent e's and willimate (will-am-ate) with a silient e, and salem (sail-em).

Most of this list is accurate, however, Medford and Coos Bay are NOT places you want to go, much less live in, please trust me on this one!

Nobody should live in the city of Portland. Medford is none for crime and drugs. Coos Bay is wonderful to visit but not living.
