So I'm thinking about moving to TN. I have my first trip planned in Sept to check it out. Do you have any advice on what to look for, where to go, things to do while I'm there. It's not a normal vacation so I feel like all the touristy things aren't going to help me make up my mind. If I end up moving I wouldn't be doing the touristy things all the time so I feel like that wouldn't be a good representation of what it's like to live there. Does that make sense? At this point I'm considering Chattanooga and Knoxville, I just don't know what to look for/at while I'm there that will help my decision.

Yes that’s awesome! We felt the same way and we were considering Knoxville too before we moved to Nashville 😊 honestly I can’t speak a ton about Chattanooga but I have a friend there I’d be happy to get some recommendations from! Knoxville wise, downtown is really fun to just walk around and try the restaurants, Maryville and the Sevierville areas are nice, and the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas are beautiful! I have a few friends that live around Knoxville also so I’d be happy to connect you with them if that would help too for any recommendations or questions!

@@lifeingreaternashvilleWhat kind of things did you look for when deciding to move there? What made you chose Nashville over Knoxville?

@@tashahardesty2773 honestly we really liked both for different reasons, but a house popped up outside Nashville that felt right so we went for it! Now that we’re here I still like Knoxville but I’m glad we ended up here. It’s nice having a bigger city close but we can be outside of it and feel like we’re out to ourselves. I’ve heard people say Nashville is more flat than eastern TN but the western side of Nashville isn’t flat at all and gorgeous landscape. Ultimately we just gave it to God and felt like we were being led here! I’d say visit all those cities and see how you feel if you can 😊
