As a CD-buying teenager, there was nothing more amazing than first discovering 98.1, and then waiting for each new CD to come out from Rob Playford and Moving Shadow. 01.1 being the pinnacle. I remember him saying he made the cost 1 pound or 1.99 to make it affordable for people to get it easily. Brilliant idea. Brilliant label. 'Virus' and 'Good Looking Records' being the other two that consistently had top quality DnB. Amazingly mixed as we'd come to expect!!! And you didn't nod off once Mr Keksz????

aye mate^^ ...HOW MUCH IT WAS WORTH TO OWN AN ORIGINAL..or a fckn protesis of a copytape...^^ todays youth has no idea of that.. ..and to be honest.. when I was a teen back in the 90s.. I didnt know how this music is called ... BUT FROM FIRST TIME THIS SOUND WENT THROUGH MY EARS ..INTO MY BRAIN... I FELT SO SPECIAL.. lol.. weednstuff.. came years later ..lol..and as I can say.. that definately was an upgrade to my listening experiences ;D

99.2 was also 1,99£. But in french stores was sold for about 120 franc at that time (15€).
Man, Rockstar Games North knew what they were doing when they had MSX FM and MSX 98 in their video games. I wish Rockstar brings back MSX in the next GTA, even Midnight Club 1 and 3 had so many Moving Shadow songs, I couldn’t even believe it with my own eyes haha This mix is like a MSX 2021 to me, making me relive my childhood all over again. I really appreciate these mixes man, You got my support! sucks YT is doing that to You :(
