Back in 1998 I used to put this and 98.1 in my PC's CD ROM drive to replace the music while I shot things in Unreal or drove tiny cars in Micro Machines. Those where the days.
All the other kids in my neighborhood would shoot basketballs and yell out "JORDAN!!!" I bought the records played on this mix and would mix them together like on this cd and yell out "PLAYFORD!!!" ❤
Went on a road trip around the top half of the South Island of New Zealand with a small crew. Went to the 98' Gathering in Takaka. This mix was our sound track pretty much the whole way there and back. Such a dope time for Drum and Bass. Such a dope time to be alive as a young cat.
I bought this CD in 1998 and in that time where Drum & Bass music was changing and sounding unfamiliar to me tracks like 'Telemetry' and 'Thunder' still had those sounds I liked particularly Thunder. I subsequently adapted to the new fresher sound of D&B. I loved this CD growing up, great memories.

I used to listen to it over and over, what a gem - I remember in my youthful ignorance I thought the band name was Guardians of D'alliance, as in... Da Alliance... facepalm
