Hahaha, I laughed so hard when you guys went back to get the other rug but the bigger one definitely looks like the better choice. Love the table! Will definitely check out manufacturer’s website for gift ideas! Thank you!! FWIW: 1R: One-room studio where kitchen may or may not be separate from primary room. 1K: One-room studio with separate kitchen. 1DK: One-room flat or studio with dining space in the kitchen. 1LDK: One-room flat with kitchen that is separate from the dining/living room space. Often, (at least here in Yokohama/Tokyo) the living room and dining room are the same room just bigger space. 1SLDK: One-room flat with kitchen that is separate from the dining/living room space, with an service room that can be used for a home office, baby’s room, storage room, etc. Such “service” rooms are not bedrooms for legal reasons, so are technically labeled as service rooms. In reality, most of my clients use them as a kid’s room. Then, 2, 3, 4, etc. simply indicate number of bedrooms.

In terms of desk organisation, unless you're activly using your laptop screen as a second monitor, you should check out the Logitech MX Keys for Business combo as a wireless mouse/keyboard setup. You can put your laptop to the side and have a more ergonomical setup. The MX Master mouse also offers a horizontal scrolling wheel which helps a ton with timeline scrolling in whatever software you use for video edits. Just not sure how easy it is, to get an international keyboard layout in Japan...

Hannah, I love hamsters but sadly enough they have no long lifespan and every time our hamster died we were sick with grief!!! So, not gonna get hamsters anymore. I most of all loved the slightly bigger hamsters with long hair!! One of them was a sweet 'little' guy called KaiKai and was very funny and affectionate with me. In the evening he sat between my husband and me on the couch and enjoyed being caressed so much, he only wanted to sit on my lap HAHA. We had hamsters for a few years after having had a couple thorn-tailed dragons called Pilar (girl) and Rocky (male), he eventually became 17 years old which was very old for such an animal! After the hamsters we got canaries till now. The one we have very recent bought, end january is called Mihawk (1 year old) and gives already kisses to my son (29 and a gentle giant). It's amazing how special and smart canaries are!!! Lots of love from Pinkie

Miss Lil’ Moch already, but it’s lovely to see her in this video and getting so much love 🥺🥹😔. The apartment looks so nice too, and the recycled curtain ties is a great idea! I’d be too nervous to own a white rug, so props to you guys for that and the table is just stellar!! I’d be so chuffed too with a table like that. ❤️❤️ I’m curious though; did your hand made, light fixture ball thing (using glue and thick twine) make it to the new apartment?

Yes she makes a few appearances in this one 😌 The white rug was a risky choice but we couldn’t imagine any other colour in the space haha! At least bleach is always an option if we need it. @@CurrentlyHannah Oh that's amazing!! 👏👏 The best piece of advice I was ever given for white furniture/clothes is to have white wine on hand if anyone is drinking red wine. If there's a spill then neutralize the red/purple colour asap, and then deal with the clean up. All the best with the white rug, you two are much braver than I lol.

Oh, go ahead and gush about that coffee table. When I saw it, I started thinking of using some exotic wood I have and with that method create my turntable stand of my own design. Do not apologize for your enthusiasm for something crafted so well. Congrats on finally creating your editing bay work station. It looks fantastic. I suppose you got all new furniture, because I don’t see that dresser from your old place. I was curious if In fact you were at an IKEA. I looked like it, then when you confirmed it. I was thinking, I’m not imaging it. Your new digs is huge. It feels as though you can breathe, and stretch out. I felt claustrophobic just watching you move around in it. So how do you deal with the nocturnal running your hamster does when you’re trying to sleep. It’s loud and intense. My landlady had one, and I heard it one night, and thought what is doing that, and how can I store all that energy for later usage. They have a short life span, and to replace it as a pet she got two rescue cats, and her daughter like you enjoys Mochi and gave one of the cats that same name. Oh, so back when I had pulled into port in Yokohama. I had wanted to go to Tokyo on my own, and without any help. Now this was last century so tech devices to aid me in my travels. I started out late and got the last train to Yokosuka. I hesitated and missed out and taking the transfer train onward. I ended up stuck there. A very clean and beautiful place. The bars I tried to go to were Japanese only and wasn’t allowed inside. I was already accustomed to this while station on Guam. There’s a section of Japanese hotels for business men and honeymoon couples for their private pleasure. So I knew about it, so I wasn’t going to force my way in. I wonder what you call that picture hanger. They’re called Command strips and they don’t damage the walls, and are removable with a tug. Is that item similar? Enjoy your new digs. It’s looks very comfortable. Cheers.

I'm amazed that your hamster cage was able to hold the weight when you carried it.

13:20🤯 I saw this table in one of your other videos. You were placing something on top of it while the view from the camera directly from above if I remember correctly. I thought it was a unique table made of tree trunk with well cut & polished surface & wondered it must be bothersome / extra effort for you each time to put stuff on it to prevent stuff from falling through the big gaps, holes, etc 😄 Now I see the reality. 20:36😵 so it is actually made of wood 19:24 📝

We pay the same amount for our house rental in Osaka, but it’s a super old house…but it’s 95 sq m…which when you have two big dogs it’s so worth it
