Moving from Seattle to San Diego, plus tour of beach cottage upon arrival!
I packed up my life on short notice and moved to Southern California to live on the beach. This is a brief overview of my drive down I-5 -- the entire length of the West coast of the United States. It took me three days, but now I’m in my tiny 350 sq. ft. cottage and adjusting to a new life. More to come about how I furnished the place.

Nothing in San Diego is more expensive than Seattle, so there hasn't been sticker shock. It sounds like you wouldn't want to live in California, which is why I hope you don't have to. I hope you live where you're happy.
