Impressed how calm and quiet cows you have! And so calm they where to enter the transport. And so nice in the body on heffers ,cow and calf. Manny plus from me.

I agree 100 %
Cracks me up every time a cow starts poking around a camera.. that one actually made me jump. Thought I was getting licked in the ear for a second there. Lol.
Mighty fine that sure was some good prices for them calves!! God Bless!!
Built a 24x84 concrete silo in 1976 Flying Dutchmen unloader. They mixed their own mix on site pulled forms by hand. Good luck men.
Great video and You and Dad sure can move the cattle around when you need to. The little trailer is just big enough for the job. Silo looks great.
I love that the cow attacks the camera after you shut the door.😂😂😂

That was precious. This will teach you to sell us.😂😂😂😂😂
Eric great update. Silo looks awesome. 👍🏻🇨🇦
That new Giant telehandler will be awesome . Cant wait to see it in action.
Week old calves are bringing big money right now in the Midwest. But your price is the highest I've heard so far. Nice sound fleshy culls are bringing over a buck a pound. Beef is good property.
Sad to see the long timers go off to their final home - good thing I'm not a farmer! Thanks for the video.
Great video. The silo is really impressive. It seems you have a bit of sadness in having to send the older animals off to their next phase of life. Thanks again for a super video.
With the cows with the crossed teats, try crossing the milker when she is put on and tie the cable around kick bar and milker hose. It will help her milk better
Wow Eric it's about time that you finally got yourself a telehandler I've been saying about one for a long time, it's going to be of great use for your feed mixer instead of using the bobcat which has limited reaching capability.
Good to see the silo getting done, that was sure neat to watch. Thanks for showing it to us. Good to see your calves, their doing good too. Thank, I hope you have a good rest of the week.
For a second, when you were showing the roof being put on, the new silo looked like it had a mad lean!!! Then I realised you were just holding the camera at a jaunty angle! 🤣
That wheel loader looks like a new machine class, ought to be interesting to see how it adapts to your normal farm tasks.

They demoed them 6 months ago and the had closed cabs. Check for the video that starts with GIANT.
Silo looks great!
I’m surprised at how quickly the silo went up,it would be interesting to know how you like or dislike the telehandler, it looks like a fun machine to try out
Love to see the progress! Thanks for the video.
Beautiful farm. All your cattle are so well behaved. God Bless.
Very fun to see a Giant loader, I drive a G2200 x-tra myself.
Really AWESOME and amazing video Eric. Thank you and your dad. The Silo looks amazing

Grass is really turning green isn’t it !
Looks like a new addition in the bunker silo.
Hey Eric, on my youtube feed a video popped up for Macon One showing your demo of the Giant wheel loaders. Had to chuckle. You put on a good demo.
I think we need a "running the foot bath today" shirt/hoodie
I can't figure out why you don't put a bottom unloader in that silo. The pressure of 24 x 132 ft of haylage or cornsilage is going to be put the bottom 30ft so tight in there- rockhard - you top unloader will have a really hard time getting that last 30 ft out. Also constantly having to climb 130 ft (!!!!!) up to adjust the unloader on its way down. I wished you would discuss that aspect with your dad as well. 130 ft up will happen several times. I would like to hear your opinion about that. Also having that feedcart ( from Lely) to move in between barns in the winter time- with snow or in the pouring rain? Why don't you just buy a much larger TMR mixer and feed once a day - like we do with very good results.

I'll discuss bottom unloaders in a future video. Multiple reasons we want to avoid them. Feeding once a day can give good results but we think this will give us even better results.
Love watching your videos. It reminds me of my childhood, I was raised on a farm. Keep up with the great stuff
Thank you for your videos. I really enjoy them.
It's amazing how you get 1 on trailer an the rest pile in.

Cows are herd animals they instinctively follow each other and if it's a routine they do then they also follow their routine but many farmers don't put their livestock on a trailer too often since it's not necessary once they are on the farm they're usually there until they die.
Great video, awesome to see progress!
the outro is the freaking best part about this whole video. Love it fam
❤ ALL YOUR VIDEOS ERIC ❤

That’s for the high milkers 😂 The perks on a the farm are amazing 👍🏻
Uh oh...I think that silo is leaning a bit...hehehe
that is a huge silo...
Just got report, south central wi. Black calves bringing $10lb /Holstein brought 6.65! It's a wild market.
Thanks 😊
Ya Got Me! 0:46 "let's see how i did?" Spot on! The jockey wheel is on the brick dead on!! 👍👏 hugely impressive. Then i realised, you werent' reversing the trailer in... doh 🤦♂ i'm such a donut 😂
Definitely going to be leg day when climbing that silo. Need a rope and a bucket when you are doing unloader repairs so you can call for someone to bring tools to the bucket instead of climbing 100 or more feet back down to get something.
My wife and I drove by a few days ago and seen the new silo. Very impressive, also said hello to your dad. Thanks for sharing.
Sounds like you got a good price for the calves ,that's good it helps.
thank you
Great Work 💪 💪
Your dad wearing a 10th Gen Shirt is fantastic
Wow, that is high…. Great job!
Awesome viedo as always! Quick question: Why do you not fix the heifers in the feeding fences while moving them from one group to the next one and only set those free which need to go to the next group? That way sorting is easier and you can even do it alone :)

We do that sometimes but it's usually not too much trouble just to chase them.
Cool that the silo is mostly done and you get try out that machine for a little longer.
perfect timing just finished cooking the dinner :D
presuming you pull the camper with the silver truck--but when do you take time off? (i know all that's not really for the 10thgenpublic camera, etc.)
“Having those utter problems.” 😂
question, what is the modular home in the bunker for?
@10thgenerationdairyman61

Great videos and great family...
@2:30 imagine being sold.....cuz you aint right lol
Great videos I always look forward to seeing a new one. are you still going to use the silage bunkers ,if not they would make great barns if you used fabric hoop roofs

He could put metal frames, trusses, header walls on the top of the cement walls, metal roofs and make them barnes. Store all the equipment in one, make another into a work bay and the third a office space for eric with a basketball court and a walk in cooler for his chocolate milk and mountain dew.
That’s a monster silo. No way would get me to climb that thing even if I could. Look forward to see that in your next video. Please tell me that you’ll be tied in with a safety harness. Great video Eric.
3:57 cow: gotcha!
❤❤video ❤❤great information about what your family deal with on a daily routine ❤❤the silo looks great, how long will it be for the roof to be put on, also silo being used❤❤calving season ❤❤
Good work
Congratulations on getting the first silo finished. Hate to see those two girls go but it’s part of the business.
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊
Whats the purpose of those ladder safety cages? Do they prevent injuries when falling down? Wouldn't a safety harness be more secure? I'm genuinely wondering.

If you slip you can catch yourself
If you have time, it would be really cool to fly the drone and check out the roof of the silo and fly it inside(don’t know if those cameras work in the dark…)
Great videos guy...
I was wondering that too.
Good thing its built before the first cut. Are you putting in another one or is one enough?

It is awesome. They are spoiled girls. :)
Hey dumb question, but why don’t you guys get the concrete Grover guy to rough up the floor in the calf barn? It seems like you fight that slick floor a lot.
Just curious do they put any sort of sealer on the inside of the silo?
A lot of money for the Angus...👍
What do they always use for bedding?
Silo looks amazing and did anyone peep the modular home sitting in the bunker? Eric didnt mention it just curious and I love all the baby cows oh and the one Lady who tried to eat the phone i think she was trying to take a selfie lol

Since Eric is going to lose his office during the upgrade why not put a better office in the soon to be obsolete bunk. He can also put in a half basketball court if not a full one and don't forget a walk in cooler for Eric's chocolate milk and mountain dew.
i see that model home in the bunker silo at 5:11 . is it something to do with the farm or just renting out storage space
That looks like a long climb to the top...no rest platform? Maybe you should rig up an elevator(LOL) Stay safe and thanks for the videos.
Your animals are content and a little frisky. Testament to the way they are treated. Silo looks huge, can't wait to see the auto feeder in action.
I'm curious what the small home will be used for sitting in the bunker.
For scale those bunker silos made that house trailer look like a toy 5:16
How many months old are the heifers you moved from the calf barn
GOOD AFTERNOON
another great video
whats up with the mini house in the bunker?! I really think that loader is where its at. It wont replace the skid steer but you wont need one to be for everyday all day use. It would be so much more comfortable to use it seems

They're temporarily storing the house for family.
Funny sight moving those young cows on fast forward.
What do you do with the Angus heifers?
The only way to make that assent safe enough for me would to install an in closed elevator.😱
Could you enable the multilingual voice option in video? I'm from Portugal and I know some people who also watch your videos (the subtitles don't always translate correctly)
Thanks Eric for commenting on 999. It’s fun noticing similarities on your farm and genetics with ours. I tried but didn’t pick her sire. Einstein 👍
No one ever talks about the physical toll working these types of jobs take. Can you speak on that at all, what you do to stay in shape, what you eat daily for nutrition? Is there anything you recommend to people regarding milk, whole vs 2% and how that works?
I wonder how much the cost is just for the roof? O just scraped the roof off a 12 foot diameter silo and it was a total of $56 for just the aluminum.
Always amazed me how strong those little guys are.
when does unloader go in silo? and wouldn't that be before roof?
I set my trailers just below the ball then when backing you feel it slip over the ball and your dead nuts on. Looks like you almost were dead nuts on
There is alot of concrete on that sola, they know what there doing.
When a cows udder folds in like that. Could be a birth defect or can be age? How much money can young male cow's be worth?
Heifers look outstanding. Appear very healthy.
The milk cows that you sell, do they sell to the meat chain or do other farmers buy?

Will a new shop/storage shed be built since the the old shop/storage will be ur feed room
I'm waiting for you to climb the new silo only to be like "Oh hey guess they left some tools" and pull out a soda
