One of the biggest bloopers never mentioned about the Frighteners with Michael J Fox is a scene where the possessed bed is hovering in the air with the stars on top. Unfortunately, no one bothered to CGI the crane underneath out of the picture, they forgot all about it, so you see the bed shaken around by a huge machine while they are screaming on top. There's also a scene in the kitchen where the boom is too low and you see the mic following them around while they talk. Hilarious.

A small correction on "MacGuffin". From Wikipedia "In fiction, a MacGuffin (sometimes McGuffin) is an object, device, or event that is necessary to the plot and the motivation of the characters, but insignificant, unimportant, or irrelevant in itself. The term was originated by Angus MacPhail for film. adopted by Alfred Hitchcock and later extended to a similar device in other fiction.[

They also badly cut out another blooper in scream, when Matthew Lillard tripped leaping over the couch. Even though the trip was cut, as soon as he goes over the couch, you can still hear the this of him hitting the floor, and see him stand back up, behind the couch.

I think if you look closely, in the highest definition available- just as the fly "dissapears" you can see a small black speck at the very right of the screen. Just for one single frame. That means it instantly flew away with great speed

Sorry, if they said 2004, then you are both wrong. The first Spiderman movie was 2002 with Toby Maguire in Spider-man, 2004 was Spider-man 2 again with Toby Maguire and 2007 Spider-man 3 and one more time Toby Maguire. Then 2012, The Amazing Spider-Man with Andrew Garfield and then 2014 The Amazing Spider-man 2.

Must have been a custom made phone booth. You cannot get two adults in a standard phone booth.

    - Nah man, all phone booths used to be like that, was a pretty standard size. I mean they ended up making them way cheaper as time went on, even eventually having no real sides at all, just stuck on a post or a wall, but original phone booths were always that size and design. I don't even think they have them anymore, haven't seen a phone booth in a few years now.

@@erepsekahs - Well, I would assume that is there isn't a specific date set for the movie (can't recall so would have to check, but pretty sure a specific timeline may have been mentioned), then the best guess for date/timeline would be figure out the date the movie was released (1988), and then assume it's probably set either around that time, or perhaps a little earlier, seems reasonable. - this is early 2020s and so that means the movie was probably set around the time of approx 30+ years ago in the 80s timeframe.

I too can't watch any Tom Cruise movies anymore. Knowing that he's part of the scam of Scientology... I don't like people like that. For anyone to support Scientology there must be something wrong with their head. I cannot help to think that somehow narcissism is involved. somehow you can't be wrong because you're a big Hollywood movie star, that of which I would also like to add that I like my movies and stuff but I would never ever be obsessed with movies and people in Hollywood. I think that in itself says there's something wrong with you too. If I see an actor out on the street I probably wouldn't say anything to them and if I did it would be as casual as me saying hi to my coworker as I walked past them down the hallway at work
