The two childhood friends love the same girl, the one rejected becomes a tyrant, Dimash's character, a resistance fighter, ends up fighting his old childhood friend, and has a child with the girl. The war causes the death of his daughter, he avenges her by killing his childhood friend and dies as well. That child then appears as an adult in the end uniting the peoples and seeking peace and not war. The philosophical inflections and juxtapositions are typical of the complex nature of Sufi thought, it shows how love, or unfulfilled passion, sets in motion hatred and all the consequences of the dualistic view of life that engenders so much suffering, while positing that life itself is transcendent and in that transcendence embraces all, including the tragedies of this dualism, but also points at something higher and a chance for unity within diversity. Dimash is a rare jewel in a sea of mediocrity which has become the post moderns music/entertainment industry. He manages to bring the depth of one of tho most sophisticated thought traditions of the world into the mainstream pop universe. That's a feat in of itself is extraordinary, but then there is the artistry and the singing. I could be wrong, but I think this is the first song he has written after concluding his PhD in music composition. I'm excited about what's to come.

We are distracted by the futility of this satanic world. We've lost the fundamental values of life and we are destroying mother earth. We must return to God our creator, there is no time left. I choose life and love, the only keys to peace. Dimash is a godsent spirit. He is not of this world. 🙏

The clip is divided into several parts. The first one is about childhood. The main character, his 2 friends are connected by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the Protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in this children’s story, as the boys are in love with one girl, and she chooses one. The second experiences a kind of psychological breakdown and transfers the children’s problems into the adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. By becoming president, the Antagonist carries the idea of a saving war: “Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give the world freedom. A world where every city, every home is one. We will lead all who are ready to begin this new life. Anyone who resists has no place with us. I choose freedom. The world is open before me, and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.” The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge. However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together. This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children. From Dimash news site

👉The glottal - stops is a throat singing technique called "bleating" used by the indigenous peoples of the Far East. (A bleat is the result of the larynx alternately resisting and releasing the excessive breath pressure. Forcing the chin down against the larynx will make the vibrato change both rate and extent erratically and irregularly.) - another example: Diana Ankudinova - kzread.info/dash/bejne/d6GB2rGvZbDaqag.html Yodelling is different. It takes place all over the world, from the Arctic Circle to the equator. Yodelling describes singing without text on phonetic syllables with frequent rapid changes between chest and head voice, the so-called register change. Over long distances in inaccessible regions, yodelling was originally used for communication - or as a call for the cattle. Various forms of yodelling have developed around the world. (www)

In my opinion, the 3 Kids are the 3 adults. Dimash is the one saved from being drowned. The one who Dimash gives that necklace is the the military (Our Piper), and the girl on the beach becomes Dimash's wife. The little girl who died is Dimash's daughter. We could see how her mother holding her hand, tried to escape running from their home, with other neighbours, but the girl came back for her toy. Her mother was pregnant and has a new baby who,as an adult, continues this journey of Peace and Unity, leading all religions (Mankind in general) to a rising sun, to a new way of living together, everybody under the same sky.

When Dimash premiered "The story of one sky" at his concert he gave a speech prior to singing the song. I think that speech is important and hope you dont mind me posting it here "Many thanks dear friends, before I perform the next song, let me say a few words. Thank you very much. We, the people sitting in this stadium, each of us is different, not totally alike one another, but we are all God's children, each of us with different talents. And, as I mentioned just now, right now is a bad time. In fact, I am not satisfied with the present situation. I have not seen how such situations evolved in the past, therefore I don't know what will happen next. But many people are suffering today because of a few individuals, it's really true. We, we the adults, consider ourselves to be "smarter" than the small children and innocents, but while we do our best to teach and educate our children, we forget that we also have some things to learn from those children. They are pure-hearted, kind, friendly, untainted and without egos and their love for people are pure. Young children have such qualities. I started writing this song I'm about to perform, three years ago. Generally speaking, my main purpose in writing this work is to call for peace in the world. It's a small composition that has burst out from deep within my heart. To tell you truth, many thanks to god and with your wishes I traveled to many parts of the world and met many different people during my tours. One thing I understood is that if you look at ordinary people, there is no such thing as a bad nationality, there is no bad nationality! I don't need to tell you what you already know about the reason for mentioning the topic of nationality here... Let there be peace in the world, Let there be peace. Let there be no war. Let no people, let no nationality, let no country suffer! Because after all, ordinary individuals, ordinary people are not at fault. The truth of the matter is, no ordinary person is guilty of starting a war! That's why the next song I'll be performing in your honor is about our common fate under one sky, it's called "The Story of One Sky". Hope you like it."

The soldier was Dimash's character who almost drowned as a child, his friend who saved him became the Dictator & the young girl became Dimash's wife who was the one giving birth & the little girl was their child too. We saw the woman holding her when Dimash & she took out their necklaces & looked at them. When he went to where his wife & child were he saw all the dead bodies & then saw his daughter dead too. He probably then believed his wife was also dead & that's why he went & killed his childhood friend who had caused their deaths. I think his wife died giving birth, hence the necklace being put onto the baby & thus baby grew to be the man who leads all the people of different cultures/religions in the fight against war and all injustices. This is what I got from this after watching it many times. Whether others get the same I don't know, but to me, it makes sense. It's very powerful and emotional & serves to remind us that while we all look the other way, these atrocities are happening somewhere in the world and right now in several countries. This is what makes us all responsible for all the suffering. We need to become warriors against wars but its so hard to get people to stand together and, unfortunately, war is a huge money-making thing & our world has become more concerned with money than with people & lives 😢 Thank you for your emotional reaction which is exactly what we should all feel 👏❤️

It is cyclical. However, the references to the three children: Dimash is the child who was drowning at the beginning (thus the cyclical return to drowning at the time of his adult death); “Piper” was the young hero who saved Dimash as a child who became a despotic dictator and the young girl who ended with Dimash - their older daughter having been killed by the soldiers and their son being born as Dimash’s character is slain. The choices made are relevant. Dimash’s character fights with his conscience throughout, but especially when he chooses to end the tyranny of “Piper’s” reign knowing that this will end his own life, but allow other lives - his infant son’s included - to carry on… “We choose life.” Dimash has penned this as a labour of love. His love for children, life, God and music are all passionately revealed in this masterful work. Dimash does not apologize for his faith, nor does he use his faith as a means of division. Dimash upholds the message of peace, respect, communication and love. Very powerful video and message. Prayers for peace from Canada!

Beautiful and powerful. Real. The story of three friends and how their lives were formed. Dimash ( the boy in the boat), did get the girl. The boy who saved him, became greedy and used the symbol of friendship for power. Though his wife was saved his daughter was a victim of war and hate. In the end revenge. A shepherd was reborn to lead all to change. Dimash deserves every praise for his heart.

👉 That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen. This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children. Story: (Requiem means: Funeral, Funeral Mass, Funeral Service) The clip is divided into several parts. The first one is about childhood. The main character, his 2 friends are connected by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow pointer of a sundial, which was also used as a maritime compass before antiquity. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together. Script - Dimash Qudaibergen Music - Dimash Qudaibergen Lyrics - Liliya Vinogradova (she also wrote Passione, Ti Amo Cosi, Olimpico, etc...) Directed by - Alina Veripia DimashAli Director - Kanat Aitbayev (Dimash’s dad) Dimash Qudaibergen’s 12-minute work is dedicated to the unity of people on our planet. We are all divided into races, nations and religions, but we are all children of one planet and live under one sky. Life is the highest value. No sacred book calls for the destruction of people. We must learn to be friends; it is impossible for a few adults to cause millions of children to suffer. The future of our planet, the future of people is in our hands, let there be peace in the world. We are children of one Home, one Earth and one Heaven. (astana times, Dimash news and description under the video) My opinion: The whole song is an outcry. My heart aches because of the wars and misery in this world. The greed, envy and intolerance of men will wipe them off the face of the earth if they do not come to their senses. Children and women are targeted victims of annihilation and rape in wars. But they are not just victims or mothers. They are half of humanity. Where are they? Why don't the women climb the mountain side by side with the men and head towards the sunrise and a better future? I only see men running mercilessly past a collapsed comrade-in-arms. Nobody helps him. What future can such a humanity await? Will anything ever change? *** Pope Francis awarded a commemorative medal to Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen during the Pope's visit to the Seventh Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions September 14-15, 2022 in Nur-Sultan. On September 13, 2022, Dimash performed his new song 'The Story of One Sky' at the concert held for convention attendees. The words at the end of the video are from the "Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb, on February 4, 2019. Thank you for this lengthy information. I agree with your opinion. As a woman, I noticed no women walking towards the light at the end, following Dimash. Women only seemed to be valued as the bearer of babies. Also, I was uncomfortable with the savior-like Dimash at the end. That doesn't seem like Dimash, and doesn't show unity and collectiveness of spirit - rather a leader with followers. Look where that gets us... I also thought the voice-overs were too loud and distracting/confusing. I know this sounds very critical, but I actually think this video is a masterpiece, I LOVE the music, (and have been listening to a version without the video and voice-overs,) and Dimash's voice, through range, techniques, pitch, placement, etc., is impeccable and exquisite - I am in awe and feel blessed to be able to hear him and watch him perform. Check out the live versions. Wow! I hope to see him in person one day!

@@sherrys7854 Hi Sherry-Dear, yes, the leaders of all religions have always been men until now. Since a better, peaceful future is at stake, I would have found it fairer if Dimash had placed us women as equal partners alongside men. (I received a letter in which the writer said that Kabbalah says that women have already completed their spiritual journey and only men have yet to go through it. That's why you only see men on the path.) I agree with you and not quite sure what to make of the last scene: a reincarnation, Dimash as the new messiah, a shepherd or a new Piper with his sheep (this time in the name of faith)??? It strikes me as a cult of personality (Dimash grew up with it in Kazakhstan). It is unmistakable, Dimash is the product of his grandparents' upbringing, Kazakh society and his religion. He appreciates and respects women, but he's still macho. In interviews, he says that cooking is a woman's job and has clear ideas about what his future wife should be like, but there is no mention of a partnership. However, I also noticed that not many women or even men even realize that women are not in the video. I also understand that the vbloggers are overwhelmed when they first see the video. I have to admit that like you, I put the bad feelings aside because I'm sure Dimash just wants to convey the message of peace. It’s a story about three children. The boy Dimash saved from drowning is the boy who became the dictator. The girl and Dimash got married, they have a daughter who was killed in the war. Dimash kills the dictator. the Dictator’s soldiers kill Dimash. Dimash’s wife gives birth to Dimash’s son. I believe at the end it’s Dimash’s son who is leading all people/religions to peace. So I think all the religions walking together in peace throughout the video is of the future that Dimash’s son, (who now has the symbol from his father), goes on to build. It’s about the lives of three children, their past, present and their future generation.

The way I see it is, three friends on a beach. Two of them fall in love. And later when they are grown go on a pilgrimage together, where their daughter is born. The third, which was saved from drowning went into the military and politics leading to war. But when the war takes the life of his daughter, the one friend goes to take the life that he regrets saving, knowing that it will likely cost him his own life. At least that's how I saw it.

3 friends on the beach, one drowns and another rescues and resuscitates him while the girl holds his hand. Fast forward. the boy who rescued Dimash is now the Piper, Dimash married the girl and has a young daughter ( that gets killed) and the wife gives birth and seem to die herself. How do 3 friends end up like this? What are we doing to each other? In the end, those that have passed walk off with Dimash to the light................. Dimash, your a genius and you have your finger on the pulse such as NO other singer today has. This is a much necessary video although it cuts through your heart and soul.

Yes you heard it right. I saw the look in your eyes. Dimash was crying while singing at the beginning of the song. When he said billions of souls and dreams. 😭😭 It broke my heart. And yes it's a expensive music movie. The most expensive MV ever made. He wrote that. I also saw in a interview he said "I'm rich, very rich. You know there is a war going on in Europe right now. Russia attacks Ukraine 🇺🇦. I live in Norway and we have a lot of refugees from Ukraine here now. People who have lost their home, family members and everything. Its so so sad. 👍 Love from Norway 🇳🇴

This is by far the best explaination I have found. It was written by Heiderose Kober: This is subtitled "Requiem" but it is also a vision and a call to action. Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions. It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14 at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions. He received a medal of commemoration from the Pope for his work. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on June 23, 2020 by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself. The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. (Thank you, Snarky Tart for that information). In the MV, the child who later becomes the military commander never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, the boy, gives his friend the pendant, the camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl. Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral compass. Later, we see a version of the gnomon, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through, as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers. Contemporary music is also present: With the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way. The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken in some way by life, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war. The Piper's call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances and control over our circumstances and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let's remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and destructive leaders. Even if we resist, as the first adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence. That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start the war, who do not support the war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against? The burning sign "Waldenburg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht to end the war in April 1945. As a native German, I have seen the aftermath of war as I was born a few years later when much of Germany was still in rubble. Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed out buildings were women and children. The good guys defeated evil but at what price? iowaculture.gov/history/education/educator-resources/primary-source-sets/world-war-ii/american-troops-move-through The last movement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant that creates a sacred space, reminding us that death and life are both sacraments and are interwoven. Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storm of his emotions that buffet the pilgrims and hinder progress. The fog of war obscures the light. When he is killed after exacting retribution, Dimash's character is dropped back into the "sacred womb" of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy, and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering. He breaks the wheel of endless war and suffering by choosing life. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is also that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. Soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby.. T he blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.” Reborn as a leader for peace and love, he becomes a guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, and spiritual orientations are very different. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect. Dimash is showing us how. Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. We don’t have to wait. We can start right now. As the hymn tells us: "Let there peace in the world, and let it begin with me." Baraka Bashad.

The necklace is an ancient symbol, a solar watch .. pointing north, the sun's light (we'r choosing light) shines trough the hole, to show time, to navigate. "Piper" bends the tip in the beginning, he never has a compas and he closes the hole = no light. To me, this is what Dimash is ment to do: to use his unique voice to Unify, to celebrate humanity, love and the uniqueness of man kind !!! (If u pay attension, All of his lyrics are about this) Greatings from an old Danish Dear and Angel 🇩🇰❤️🌷

The Piper [the older boy who becomes the Commander - as shown in the transition scene from the kids on the beach into the first dark viduals of the Commander] is also similar to "The Pied Piper of Hamelin" -- leading away followers who can't resist... and one of the song lyrics encourages them to break away from following the bad (destructive) influence of the Piper's direction, and instead turn away and escape from wrong to the right direction *see NOTE 2 below for additional/alternative Piper possible representation Part of the irony is that the older boy, who at first saves the younger one [young Dimash], grows to be ruthless (contrary to the innocent youth caring in the rescue) -- and is killed by the grown up younger boy, who in turn is killed and symbolically returned back to the imagery of the waters that would have killed him if he had not been rescued by the youth version of the Piper The figures walking through the sands represent the victims of all races, people, and religions -- i.e. war and intolerance plays no favorites, and all end up suffering and dying needlessly... The symbol, passed on to the to the grown up little girl's baby [who also represents fresh innocence, and our future generations], is also a reminder that we pass along to our children -- so will we pass them our hopes that they can retain their original intentions of the symbol [friendship, peace, tolerance, and caring], or does we pass along our misguided directions [hatred, control, destruction, intolerance of those that don't follow our control and beliefs]. What future are we leaving for the children... NOTE: Merriam-Webster - Definition of Pied Piper 1: one that offers strong but delusive enticement 2: a leader who makes irresponsible promises 3: a charismatic person who attracts followers NOTE 2: Pipers are also the soldiers who play their instruments [fife, bagpipes, etc.] during battles to encourage the forward movement of the troops -- although this would be a weaker consideration in the "Piper" reference since the musical pipers are just assigned soldiers, and are not the actual leaders or instigators for war. The reason I consider this a weaker potential reference for "Piper(s)" is because, since they aren't the actual leaders driving the battle, even if they "fall" in battle, that doesn't stop the troop movement forward -- the soldiers would still continue forward as ordered regardless of whether the Piper(s) is in front or not NOTE 3: It's easy to miss the initial connection between the kids and the first appearance of the military Commander -- but if you notice (on the beach), the older boy has crushed and bent his gifted symbol; which then appears next to his hand on the book when the shot first introduces the adult Commander into the story [the gifted symbol on the book is also bent] -- and the Commander has converted the symbol as a sign of control rather than friendship (as seen on the military arms, caps, etc.) NOTE 4: Some people seem confused about which adult is the grown up version of the 3 kids... one easy notation is that the older boy (who did the CPR) never wears the pendant, he only holds it or has it beside his hand at the pulpit. NOTE 5: Many seem to also miss the interaction of the kids on the beach... during the CPR, the girl shows great concern for the boy who was drowning and only stares at him -- the boy doing the CPR avoids looking to the eyes of the boy who nearly drowned, and you can see him glance towards the girl; with almost an annoyed expression about how much she's caring for the younger boy -- sort of like a [paraphrased] "Do I really want to save him if she likes him more than me" -- and you see the same rejection he felt after trying to make his advances on the girl, but she runs to be with the younger boy instead. NOTE 6: Without seeing the original lyrics, it would be hard to decisively determine if some of the lyric words were mispronounced or simply changed or in typos in the subtitle captions -- e.g. Dimash sings "Piper's Falling", but the subtitles show "Piper's failing" (with failing making slightly better logic in that lyrical point context as in a Leader driving people into war is failing his/her people by not protecting, but instead sending them towards death in war -- and as said earlier, in battles, even if the soldier [bagpiper] "falls", that has no affect on the rest of the soldiers continuing to advance... and likewise with the subtitle lyric line about love to share (the ",not shares" may have actually been intended to be ",not shared" as in the love of people that has been withheld because war has no intention to encourage compassion whereas peace would). NOTE 7: Often missed is how the desert scenes shift into an ominous blue windstorm when Dimash decides to go after retaliation and revenge [as if fighting within himself between peace and revenge]... with revenge (as in war) leading only to destruction and death of those that follow that path NOTE 8: Underwater Death Screams -- while it may sound simply like doing screaming rather than singing; he is in fact using the rock/metal vocalist techniques [the "screams" are for the proper intended notes]. In fact, to show he is actually using controlled singing, you can hear where he decides to add in vibrato during the apparent 'scream' on the 4th "We're Choosing Life" belt... and on the final one, his vocal cords relax smoothly into a transition into the operatic aria style climax NOTE 9: Dichotomy plays fully throughout the story -- visually, vocally, and combined -- and also weaves throughout the story structure, narrative, emotions, and backgrounds PENDENT NOTES: APPEARANCES Young Dimash and the young girl -- wear the pendent... Older boy (only holds it, never wears it) -- in hand, we see it partially crushed/bent First view of Commander -- pendent (loose, still slightly bent) beside the book on the podium as he begins to speak Dimash [adult] pulls out the pendent [that he's "wearing"] Mother with little girl -- subtle, but if you watch again she is "Wearing" the pendent Mother [same lady] giving birth is "wearing the pendent" Commander (2nd time revealed) lifts up the pendent [only holding, never wearing] Dimash dies [final drowning sequence] just after baby is born -- NOTE: While most people assume it's a son, the baby's gender is never actually revealed 😉 Baby "wearing" the pendent... Would mostly likely be the Mother's pendent given to the child to carry on Dead Dimash [wearing pendent] leading the hope of all religions together towards the light [representing 'life' away from hatred and violence against others]

Film: Dimash as young boy past, Dimash as present man solider in war, Dimash as future (his son who leads). Dimash has boldly spoken out on stage in his 3 earlier concerts this year on the current war. Dimash has only been super famous since 2017....in that short time....at only 28 years old .....creating works of art at this level of depth and maturity, the risk he is taking, the cry out....screaming out..... for people to wake up and see and do something to save humanity.....BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE IF IT IS NOT ALREADY TOO LATE.......at only 28, after only 5 years of fame.....what kind of human is this???? When others at this point in their career would be doing only and everything they can to further their popularity, and create only highly commercial, formulated, low risk pieces that would enhance their financial gain....Dimash is taking big risks to create art that makes statements of great value and meaning…..the cost in earthly terms does not seem to factor in; it is the value it adds to his soul and the soul of humanity that seems to be the driving force……how lucky I am to be alive during his lifetime!

I read where someone said the child that was killed was the child of Dimash and his childhood sweetheart from the beach. He didn't know she was still alive and delivering their baby so he killed the old friend/soldier and then was killed. The baby born was the son and was given to a woman there. Dimash's son was the one leading the people out of the desert to the light in the mountain.

Fatima Dear Dimash the film is based on a story written by Dimash with his own screenplay. (I worked on this piece for 3 years). Director Alina Veripya spoke about creating the music video for the new song: the clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character, two friends linked by childhood stories and symbols of eternal friendship. One day the friend saves the protagonist when he drowns. However, there is already competition in these children's story, where the boys love one girl and she chooses one. The second goes through a kind of psychological The disintegration and transformation of children's problems into an adult world of totalitarianism and struggle. When he becomes a commander, the opponent carries the idea of saving the war: the young boy who presents the tokens of friendship he made will marry the girl (Dimash). She will give birth. A baby girl (murdered) and a mother waiting for another baby. Friends were scattered, and the third friend became an enemy, friends are enemies, because of the war, It is shocking how the cry of true helplessness of a father embracing his murdered daughter is practically coupled with the cries of a woman in labor who brings a child into the traumatized world of soldier (Dimash). That he was searching for his family and that he had found the dead body of his daughter and I think believing that his pregnant wife had also died, and felt the death of life, he decides, as the only way out in that moment of uncontrollable pain is revenge. He killed the evil embodied in his opponent, and then was killed by soldiers' bullets. ,and when Dimash died, his son was born, and the mother died during childbirth. But the boy is saved by his society of different religions and races, he wears his mother's talisman. He will surely grow up and become a messenger of peace on earth, like a worthy son of his father.A symbol of a future without evil, without wars, a world moving towards peaceful coexistence. The light of hope and peace on earth,In a world without walls, without unfair constraints, without differences or contempt for different ethnic groups or nations because the supreme value above all is: love and peace We are all human beings, we share the same planet Earth, and we owe each other as "brothers" the respect for life. In the end, he joined with people of different races and religions from another era that touches the present and the future In a world without walls, without unfair constraints, without differences or contempt for different ethnic groups or nations because the supreme value above all is: love and peace We are all human beings, we share the same planet Earth, and we owe each other as "brothers" the respect for life. ,Piper represents the force Totalitarian, oppressor who is not alien to us and who understands that war is the way to make people free (real nonsense).Piper (is the name of a soldier's opponent, a soldier who only hates, annihilates and destroys. What a paradox for a friend who, in his childhood, saves soldier Dimash from drowning. But life is like this, full of changes, good and bad, Evil, war and contempt happen when we lose love for one another, and our way to God and making peace and love in the world is not difficult but possible if we work together for love and peace and stop wars, hate and contempt. It is about calling for cooperation, to save lives, love, friendship and the land of our children. “Art is a sacred message in life, and these are the true artists.. And the earth needs these reformers in their precious, true and immortal work for the sake of love and peace on earth..Thank God for his gifts

In western cultures, we have a tendency of saying "life and death", as if the two words were opposites. In eastern cultures, they will prefer to say "birth and death", as two elements encompassed within Life (with a big L). We come into this world and leave it, but all the time, we are held within Life. When we choose Life, we are not abolishing death but we are simply making a choice for a BETTER Life.

I'm an old man and gave up on the Grammys years ago as the performers and songs were almost all new to me, but, a friend sent me a video from the 2020 Grammys that hit me hard. It's the definition of a "Cry for Help" and brought tears to this old man's eyes. Demi Lovato is the performer. She was in alcohol rehab at the age of 19, NINETEEN! Recovering from that she still was unhappy and stressed and depressed and evolved into hard drugs. She wrote this song and 4 days later had a major drug overdose. This performance was her first performance of the song 18 months later. The song isn't just about a famous singer but all those who feel lost and alone and crying for help. If you haven't experienced this performance, please to so.❤

Thanks Rosalie, I was waiting for your reaction. You were the first to recognize suffering Jesus immediately, though you weren´t sure. There are many pictures in this tale, the most important is: That one sky, that the hero is showing us the way to, is not here on earth, but in heaven. The way of peace can no more save earth, but it will save every peaceful being. The walking man, when Dimash startet his "Totengesang", were the deceased in the afterlife. Dimash - born and raised as good Muslim - shows us, that *we all* will meet in the afterlife ("im Jenseits", wie es im Deutschen so schön heißt), we will be together in the desert, searching for the light, no matter what nation, religion, color, status.... And Jesus will also be there, stumbling to show us the stumbling of Christianity and waiting for souls to help him - in the afterlife - so that He can test the mercy of man ("Die Herzen werden gewogen werden!" Dimash zeichnet hierfür das wunderschöne Bild, dass wir dem gestrauchelten Jesus helfen - und dadurch mit Ihm eine persönliche Beziehung eingehen sollen!) And there is another moral of this tale: You have to be ready to fight and to die for your love and your believes. These things are really worth to be thought about. What else could be more important? God bless you, Rosalie, and all man, who are of good will. 🙏

How can you not love such a wholesome artist with a beautiful heart and soul? Dimash’s song is so powerful and compelling… I’m still recovering… Dimash has found his calling as an artist: presenting his Kazakh culture to the world, but also spreading compassion, love, respect, and unity through his voice and music. In the video, we could feel his pain, passion, and desperation in his heavy metal like scream (indeed, he sang with distortion!) because he truly cares. One should strive for peace and understanding among different peoples, cultures, and religions so that there’s mutual respect in spite of our differences, hence the necessity of an open dialogue to solve conflicts instead of choosing war. I admire his strong conviction, courage, and beautiful soul. I hope that his powerful message of peace and unity will be heard all across the world. Being a Dear is an honor. Thank you Rosalie for your genuine reaction!

Great reaction! It's all about symbolism. The "dictator is the guy who in the begining saved him from drowning. He also falls in love in his girlfriend but gets rejected as he then gets his neckless. That child that got killed is supposed to be his daughter. At the end he's seeing his whole life as we've seen it flash by as he's dying only to apear again in the form of a shepard for symbolics of the journey we all bare towards the light after death ending in peace and calm with his best memory in time with his love on that beach. But on a personal look at it... "We are all one, all shares a life on the same planet Earth but the end of the journey we all have to do alone as you are your own sheppard in the "valley of death" regardless of what religion you believe in." There are beliefs in ancient and re-discouvered in a way thinking that we are all God and God is all of us. God can be anything and everything and anywhere both in time and place no matter religion but the idea is that we choose life and we choose to live on Earth that is suppose to be hardest trial and we keep living lives until we get transcended to unite with "The Oneness". If you have something "unfinished" you will keep the cycle going (Old souls) untill you can move on. We are all connected to everything around us, the land we walk, the air we breathe and eachother and even Earth and universe itself. "Light is Love, Love is Light, We are the Light" It will be alright, we will all be alright in the end...

Intelligent reaction, sister! Difficult to keep control enough, to be able to process and analyse this piece of art and especially the message..., without being affected emotionally, but on the other side....., here a text I wrote some time ago: - Banality, emotion, hypocrisy... I find it pathetic, mediocre and staggering, how everyone complains, criticizes, philosophes, disapproves,... about the war and all the atrocities and suffering it entails and provokes. It goes without saying that no one will praise it, of course that everyone would want to avoid it and would wish it to no one! - Relevance, wisdom, reason... But who looked and analyzed more closely at justifications and reasons, who thought intensively and objectively about the causes of war, any "war"? Would that not be where we need to take a closer look, to finally understand the mechanisms, the steps, the actions and the narratives that led to it, and that even allowed a majority of us to accept it, to applaud it or commit to it? What is the point of always trying to cure only symptoms, if the source of the "evil" remains intact, misunderstood...? - Solution, hope, vision... Have we learned anything from "wars" and "conflicts" of the past? Have we analyzed what caused them? Have we taken the time to reason or have we rather allowed ourselves to be dragged and convinced by our emotions? Did we have any respect for the information, according to which, supposedly, these wars were "inevitable"? Was this lack of respect not due to our emotions? The truth is that if we had made the effort and taken the time to analyze and verify the information and all the arguments (when two arguments contradict each other, one has to be untrue, false..., all religions can't be right..., if one is the Truth, all the others cannot be...) that preceded each "war", each of them could have been avoided. And this is certainly not one of our emotions, or even all together, that would be capable to achieve, but only our reason. What is needed, as the only solution, is truly free information (with fair debates...), because as long as it is under the control of those who are the only profiteers of every armed conflict, injustice, chaos and unhappiness in the world, there will be "wars"... May God guide us all.

Great reaction ❤ It’s interesting as in the last scene for me explain the main message that we’re all passengers in this short period of time in life coming from the same source “God”going back at the end “as in the final scene” to the same source passing through all kind of joy and difficulties happiness and sorrow, newborn and losing dears, war and peace but although we are with different cultures different religions and different colors all human beings under the same one sky going back to the same source having the choice every single second to choose love or hate war or peace kindness or racism What we’ll choose before we all go back to the final destination? The light? Or the dark? Dimash at the end chooses LIFE, LOVE and LIGHT. What will you choose?

The Story Of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story Of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end. This video needs to be shown worldwide Something else i noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

Another comment, I remember you asking if we felt like music reactions are important. Again I say that through this platform, we become a community, we feel like we are a part of something, with everything going on in the world, communities like this are incredibly important, so valuable, the emotional/psychological impact on everyone who sees whats going on in the world is tremendous, leaving people feeling helpless, where all we have to offer is kindness and a listening ear. So thank you again for what you do, not just the reaction but the dialogue following, and responding to comments, I am sure very time consuming, but for me, I feel like I exist, I matter, someone hears me, love to all❤

Hello Rosalie, thank you for your sincere reaction. When I first heard this MV, it broke me, I became very emotional, it was heart wrenching! Dimash has worked hard for 3 years on this MV, and it turned out to be his most valuable MV, in the ideological sense, ever made, a real Masterpiece! I believe that Dimash deserves THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE, for his selfless hard work and tireless efforts in trying to bring the world together in love, peace and unity. He is a Legend and will go down in History. The mini movie is full of symbolisms, it's the story of 3 youths, 1) Dimash, who was drowning at the beginning and at the end; 2) Piper, the one who saved Dimash, and who became the leader, and who was killed by Dimash at the end; 3) The young girl, became Dimash’s future wife who gave birth to his son at the end, and Dimash's daughter who was killed by the Piper's army. They were all torn by the war. For the symbolic aspects, Dimash is showing the different cultures and religions (Catholicism, Islam, Buddhism, Hindi, etc.), through the throat singing, which is called the REQUIEM (mass for the souls of the dead), from different religions. The Pilgrim or (Shepard or a Wise Man) at the end of the video was Dimash’s baby boy, born in his image and grows up to guide the Representatives of different religions and race from different Nations to the light, for a new beginning living together in peace, tolerance, love and harmony. I'm choosing life!! 🙏🙏 See you in your next reaction. Love from Canada 💖💖

Hi Rosalie, thanks for sharing your reaction and analysis to this masterpiece by the great Dimash. I remember in an interview where he said that the important thing in his songs was not so much the powerful and wide range of his voice, that the most important thing was the message of each song and what he could convey to people. This is from Dimash's official page in the video description: "Dimash Qudaibergen's 12-minute play is dedicated to the unity of the peoples of our planet. We are divided into races, nations, and religions, but we all we are children of the same planet and we live under the same sky. No holy book calls for the destruction of people. We must learn to be friends; it is impossible for a few adults to make millions of children suffer. The future of our planet, the future of people is in our hands, may there be peace in the world. We are children of one home, of one earth, and of one sky." May this message reach many people
