This is why I don't like new Star Wars shows/movies. If it doesn't look and feel like Star Wars, it's not Star Wars. I agree with you on IT, the new clown looks lame. Tim Curry is an awsome and talented actor who can step into any role with ease. He was the voice of the Joker before Mark Hamill lent his voice. Tim Curry was awesome as the Joker, but something was off. I'm glad Mark Hamill took over.

They often do these as pilots that never get sold and so become DVD or foreign theatrical versions. Sometimes they do these to protect a trademark. Then you have instances of trademark disputes or lapses and they get snatched up by new owners.

American Psycho 2 isn't really a sequel. After American Psycho's success, Lionsgate forced another production that was already filming to film a couple of scenes to make it reference Patrick Bateman and the opening scene (hence why American Psycho 2: All American Girl doesn't fit tonally with the first film), just to make it fit. If you want a real sequel to American Psycho, you're gonna have to look at one that may have gone under the radar. It's called The Rules of Attraction, starring James Van Der Beek. The reason why I say this is a sequel to American Psycho is because it's based on the book with the same name by Bret Easton Ellis. The book and the film features Sean Bateman, who is Patrick's younger brother, and there's even a chapter in the book the follows Patrick (in his first appearance in literature before Ellis proceeded to do American Psycho). Though the film doesn't feature Patrick (there was a scene filmed involving the character, this time played by Casper Van Dien of Starship Troopers fame in the role, the scene was cut from the film. However, Patrick is still referenced when Sean gets a phone call and calls the caller Patrick before he realizes it's not Patrick). Though The Rules of Attraction was written first by Ellis, it was adapted into a film after American Psycho had been (and despite TRoA updated the setting from the 1980s to the modern times, the story is still basically the same to the book with some minor changes). So, American Psycho 2 isn't a sequel to American Psycho. The Rules of Attraction is the real sequel to American Psycho.

Gary Cole was hilarious in the Brady Bunch movie. I never saw the second one, but I like the first one. I loved Shock Treatment. It's set in the same universe as RHPS, but it's like a living game show. This takes place in a reality TV show before reality TV shows were a thing (besides COPS). The music's good, too. Another Midnight Run was one of many "movie of the week/pilot episodes" that ran during the weekends during the mid to late 90's on ABC. These shows were presented under the "Action Pack" series. They aired a total of three Midnight Run movies during that time. They also ran about 4 movies on an updated Smokey & The Bandit as well as one God awfull futuristic take on Knight Rider which was Knight Rider 2010. They had a few others that were pretty good. One of my favorites was Vanishing Son. But the ones just mentioned couldn't out do the Popularity of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess, & William Shatners: Tek War which gave way to popular series of their own. I miss the old "Action Pack" weekends. Thanks Junkman!!! Peace!!!

@That Junkman The actors name is *Paul Le Mat*👈. And yes, "Roman Polanski's" films are kind of an acquired taste. With the exception of movies such as "The Fearless Vampire Killers" (1967) and "Chinatown" (1974). Alfred Hitchcock's 1963 classic movie "The Birds" was not solely his creation. The movie is loosely based on (Daphne du Maurier's 1952 novella) of the same name. I'm not sure about "Splash, Too''? But to my understanding...{The Jerk 2 1984} was originally conceived as a 2 hour TV pilot for a TV series based on the 1979 film. Although "Steve Martin" is credited as (executive producer) of The Jerk 2? He did not write or appear in the film. And I can definitely see why. FYI! That was actor/comedian "Mark Blankfield" who played the title character- Navin Johnson in The Jerk 2. Blankfield is best known as a regular cast member of the ABC late-night live sketch comedy show "Fridays". Which ran from 1980 to 1982. "Fridays" is also known for boosting the careers of future stars such as "Michael Richards" AKA (Cosmo Kramer from Seinfeld). As well as comedian, writer, actor, television producer "Larry David".

Well first off I agree with you about Rosemary’s Baby. I watched it was a kid and it still bored me to death. I saw the sequel as a kid too and I never understood how her baby was already a grown man. I also agree with you about movies with singing and dancing in them but I do like Grease a lot. That’s one I’ve always liked even though it’s a musical.

You're lucky. In high school, my friends and I had a weekend tradition of randomly renting movies with crazy titles to laugh at. The first 15 minutes of this ended that tradition and upset me terribly. Some movies should not be made.

I Spit on Your Grave and Last House on the Left(1972) are two of my "I saw it, and I have no desire to see it again" category. The remake of Last House on the Left is nothing compared to the original. I watched it with a couple of friends, not knowing what we were watching. I'm a big horror movie fan, but there are a few one and done horror films.

You should look into the Italian ripoff movies from the 60's to the 80's. I like most of them because they are over the top bad. One example is the director Bruno Mattei made a Terminator 2 like 5 years or so before the actual one. It's all over the place and really has very little to do with the real one, but it's fun. He also did a Jaws sequel called Cruel Jaws. Shock Treatment is just a continuation of the story of the two normal characters in Rocky Horror not the whole group. Yeah I spit on your grave is a bit especially for a kid. They made a remake and like 3 other sequels. Splash is ok.

I remember Psycho had a kind of TV movie sequel in between Psycho II and III. There was a TV movie called "Bates Motel" where the story was somehow Norman Bates passes away in prison/asylum(?) and leaves the Bates Motel to his cellmate upon his release. The movie was intended as a pilot to a weekly "Bates Motel" series that would've been an anthology where weird stuff happens at the motel. It never came to pass tho and then there was a theatrical Psycho III. Psycho IV was a direct to cable movie that actually starred Anthony Perkins, it played as both a sequel and a prequel as Norman, now "cured" tells his story to a talk radio host about his abuse from his mother and his eventual murdering of her and his stepfather. I believe that was used as the basis for the more recent "Bates Motel" series that ran a few years ago.

@@Dman425 I KNOW THIS. There was an INTENDED SPINOFF SHOW FROM THE TV MOVIE THAT NEVER GOT MADE. I WROTE THIS IN MY INITIAL COMMENT. DID YOU NOT READ THAT?!! Literacy is the key... BATES MOTEL (1987) The film is about Alex West, a mentally disturbed youth who was admitted to an asylum after killing his abusive stepfather. There he befriends Norman and ends up inheriting the Bates Motel. It was originally produced as a pilot for a proposed TV series set in the Bates Motel, but it was not picked up by the network.
