Ι think the song overall is about OCD so the line "my demon is me" refers to his own brain imprisoning him in repetitive thoughts.

"You wanna move mountains Well, I do too" That hits hard when I think about depression and shit. You just wanna get better and be happy as everyone, but is not easy as some people think.
