Being compassionate has forced me to give up my own feeding of the flesh. Before I was saved, I never truly realized the severity of the way I dress and how it affects others. I grew a compassion for my fellow brothers of the world and realized I did not want to make it harder for them to defeat the spirit of lust so I changed the way I dress completely and personally chose to not wear makeup. As a modern woman, it is really difficult to give up the dopamine and attention you get from looking a certain way, but it is so rewarding once you do and being obedient to God is always the right path❤ thank you again for a wonderful and insightful podcast!

Wow. Compassion and Love go along way when your Mind, and your Heart, and your Soul, and your Strength are all used to the LOVING OF GOD. That is very humble and selfless of you. When I was 22, after graduating college and getting a full time job as an elementary teacher, I became financially responsible for my mother and my siblings. It’s been tough at times; we’ve been evicted and have been through several situations where we have been near eviction. I’ve had to learn the hard way about managing the wealth God has entrusted me with and I’m still learning. It’s almost my 30th birthday and I’m still caring for my family. No matter what we’ve been through, how worried or anxious I would become, God has always provided. There are a lot more gifts from God in my life than hardships. The message of this episode came at just at the right time for me because I’m in a rough patch financially right now.

Thank you guys for working hard spreading the love of Jesus. The lord will bless you.🤍

Compassion has cost me friendship. And I’m ok with that.

Being compassionate has changed me as a human and my mindset. It has made me less selfish and more open to being wrong and not always being right. Thank you Lord for always being there for me, and guiding my steps! God bless anyone reading this! :)

Blessings~Compassion I say has cost me nothing because I’ve always felt it was all worth it if I’m drawn so deeply. I will insert myself without thinking and quickly when I see someone being mistreated. And I often say I don’t know how not to be this way. Nor am I saying it is good to be the way that I am. It’s cost me friendships, position in the workplace, to be cursed out by others. And I’m sure it’s cost things that I never will know about. Am I still this way, yes. My best friend just asked me earlier this week why do I have to continue to move forward with a situation that I’m being moved away from. And my response was, so that they won’t do to someone else what they thought was ok to do to me. I’ve prayed about it and the spirit within moves me to not walk away without having done what I know is the right thing to do. I pray that this helps someone on some way.

Im really fighting between going for a very nice trip to Canada and go back to my ex girlfriend to talk and work for a stable relationship. This talk touched my heart. I still dont know what to do. Can it be compassionate to go Abroad for a long time?
