My daughter went to uni in Edinburgh. As a Canadian it was a very friendly and safe city, but the food not so much. Didn’t luv the dorms, but I am sure you will find a very nice flat in second year.

The furniture has improved a lot since I was there... the carpet seems non-office. Your experience is quite similar to mine in some ways despite being nearly 20 years apart. Personalising your space, meeting your flatmates, uni cook books. Thanks for uploading.

looking back on it now a year later, I don’t know how I was so chill lol. I think just knowing it’s a new chapter of your life, being excited to meet new people and have freedom in a new place kept me going at the time 🤩😫🥹
