You need a minimum of 12,804 Euros in your blocked account. As far as documents needed to apply for the opportunity card, you will need: 1. Opportunity Card Application form 2. Declaration form 3. Passport picture 4. Passport (with at least 6 months validity and 2 free pages) 5. Educational records (certificates and transcripts) 6. European standard CV/Resume 7. Job references 8. Motivation letter to details your plan of stay in Germany 9. Proof of financial means through a blocked account or a sponsor in Germany 10. Proof of English/German proficiency at levels B2 and A1 respectively 11. Mandatory health insurance from Germany 13. Birth certificates

My niece is a nurse in ghana and has ielts UKiv pass. Can I be her sponsor here in Germany . What else will she need to apply . I have a dual citizenship and my work is also good . Thank you

It appears the person must be in Germany to be able to be your sponsor. Option for proof of financial means: in the form of a formal obligation (“Verpflichtungserklärung”) according to Sec. 66 to 68 of the German Residence Act covering the entire duration of stay, signed by a person living in Germany at the local competent office in Germany. The formal obligation can only be accepted as an adequate proof of finance with the remark “nachgewiesen.” (The financial capability of the sponsor has been verified).

The visa application fee is around 75 euros or more for the opportunity card

Please with schengen visa can you go there and look for a job

I am not away of any pathway that can help you convert from Schengen visa to a work permit. This opportunity card offers you 1 year work permit even without a job offer so you can use that time to look for a full time job

Yes, you can because they are looking for both those with a university degree and those with vocational training. The latter even have more opportunities or options as there are several job openings for the skilled trades industry
