wait you’re so right, I’ve watched so many moving vlogs recently and no one else ever includes the sad crying parts

Now that you have your nyu ID ask everywhere you go if they have a student discount! You’d be surprised how many random places around us offer it (grocery stores, hair salons, skincare brands, clothing stores like Levi’s and banana republic)

The crying was the same for me, it's hard to leave your family behind when you're close. It will become easier haha

girl I cried for like 2 days after saying bye to my parents when I first moved into college 😫 it’s definitely tough but you get use to being away from them and making a ton of new friends is always fun! have the best school year! you’ll do great!

I totally relate, left my parents for uni that’s 9 hours away. I felt horrible, like I was loosing my best friends. I would recommend booking trips wayyy in advance so you have something to look forward to that’s acc set in stone. I hope this helps, it helps me. It will get easier once you meet people xx
