My son was diagnosed with autism 1 year ago now.. as a parent to hear it, was so heartbreaking but it only made me love him more. Would not change him for anything. He’s so unique and the way he see’s the world is incredibly beautiful. ❤

I can totally see Stephen as a realtor. Personality and with his photography skills, then throw Amanda and her designing skills in the mix, team Miller could have an amazing career with that. Plus you guys have been through so much with this build you can offer an incredible amount of personal experience and understanding to it. We’re praying with you all on the house and ALL the things with health issues and diagnosis, treatment plans, surgeries etc… God is Faithful. God Bless your sweet family.❤

Lincoln cracks me up! Knocks the camera over...smiles and walks away. LOL Love that kid! Love them all!

I think Lincoln is smarter than he can let on. There are snippets that show he has a higher understanding than what he can communicate- suddenly that door will open and he won’t stop. Speech and language may have been affected by his surgeries they may take longer to build the synapses - you see how much he absorbs with his love of reading. There’s hope.

we lived in our trailer for almost 2 years and after moving into our home realized how much stress we were under for that two years just not being in a stable environment. once you settle in to your home Lincoln will relax and be able to focus on things like language development. Also, right now he's putting out a lot of energy on large motor skill development. He probably doesn't have a lot of energy left over for language development.

This is so true, like a baby developing balance and coordination, it takes a huge amount of energy. Subconsciously or consciously your brain needs the most calories for function and does need rest. That’s probably why he still needs his naps and wakes up full of energy again. He can work on his speech when they get more settled and seek more advice. I remember they mentioned a new, specialist programme for Lincoln to commence. 🙏🏻

Real estate is really exciting. My dad was a real estate broker in a major City in Canada. He, unfortunately became a quadriplegic when i was a little girl. We, his 4 kids ended up showing his houses for him ( out of necessity) and it worked out really well. My mum did all of the paperwork. Wed all hold the phone to my dads ear so he could discuss listings. It was a true family business. Im excited for you. Its a wonderful business to be in❤❤❤

Today's world is a real struggle, and knowing that there are still some good people that exist is such a breath of fresh air. Lincoln's situation is so similar to my 5 yr old son. Because we have an older daughter, we knew there was something wrong when he was 2 y/o with no words and speech at all. So he was referred to Early Intervention and that led to some speech and OT therapy. In addition to seeing a psychologist, we also took him to a neurologist who highly advised ABA therapy 20 hrs/wk and since we had health insurance, we were very fortunate to get that. He went through a lot of evaluations and therapy and each step took a lot of work and we were and still is very grateful we came across a BCBA who helped him get enough hrs thru insurance. To our surprise, he started slowly speaking words at 4 y/o and is continuing to see tremendous improvements. Looking back, we really had an ongoing fear that he was never going to speak at all. This all happened during the pandemic so it was emotionally draining for us. I think for Lincoln, the time will come when he is physically and mentally ready. With ongoing therapy and the family support it will happen.

I'm being listened to FINALLY! After years and years of fighting, I'm finally on the road to get a panda's diagnosis. Please look it up if you don't know what pans, pandas and BGE is. It's a very very important to be aware of it and I'm on the road to getting treatment to stop all the severe symptoms from pandas😢 My dad and I fought so hard and we finally have doctors that actually specialize in pans, pandas and BGE And they are being so helpful with me and I'm on the road to getting treatment to stop all these severe symptoms from the horrible condition pandas! It would be so nice not to have all these symptoms of pandas anymore that I can eat. Normally try new foods without being scared. Having seizures constant all the time. I'm just so relieved and happy that I'm finally going to get treatment to stop all this so I can get to semi back normal again. I would love to try new foods. I would love to eat normally again but with pandas it's a challenge

Almost everybody has health insurance here, actually if you are employed, you HAVE to have health insurance. So we don't have to worry about surgeries a.s.o. this doesn't cost anything. However, we are very good at complaining about almost everything. 😂😂 I admire you for your attitude towards life! Most countries have full health care coverage for "free" paid by taxes, Canada, Sweden, Finland, Great Britain and of course Germany to name just a few, but United States does not, they prefer a pay system and this has always been so, this family was well aware BEFORE they started adopting, but their channel has not taken off very well, hence the real estate job...

Lincoln is such a beacon of hope. I think he is musical. I see Him and see God's love.

My daughter Is 17 and has done speech since she was 2. It's a very slow process and she has come a very long way. We found that she was able to comprehend better when we showed her a sign, say the word and show a picture. I will email u a video from 8 yrs ago to now. Slow and steady.

Building home has made me less materialistic about materialism things - like a home. I learned that the TV shows like HGTV makes renovation look so fun and quick - whereas in reality construction, by non professionals, are almost guaranteed to cost more in terms of cost, energy, time, time, time. It is so awesome to live in a newly built house. But, I wished more people would know exactly how taxing renovation is. Glad you are showing the reality of home building!

At 37 years old my dad and sister shouldn't be taking care of me but I have a lot of challenges. A lot of disabilities that I need help with that I can't cope with on my own. Yeah it is hard for my dad at times it really is. But he's in an amazing dad for sticking with me. Fighting with me getting answers with me demanding answers with me and you know just being with me through everything is very helpful and my dad is always there. Yeah he has his moments where he's a cranky old man but he's still a rockstar and we're rocking it out together

here in germany, many distance learning universities have freelance positions for lecturers. i see stephen in there too. he is so good at coaching and teaching.
