I think the biggest part was having Reese and Kiera as sisters for Penny really helped. Lincoln has grown so much!

Wow! Just listening to Penelope, how she was scared but she took that leap to be adopted to an AMAZING family that embraced and supported her and never changed her! ❤Just looking at Lincoln now how he's growing and thriving but that smile and laughter remains!👍🏾

I cried, in PUBLIC especially when she said about she never thought that she will have family and ambition. Jeez eyes control yaselffff. lol

Penny is brave and resilient. She will graduate early and English is not her first language. I could imagine how scary it was when other families didn’t work out, worried if this family will truly want her. But she blessed your family tenfold.

Keira is so beautiful. Shy and quiet, she’s going to be a force to reckon with when she’s older. Looks just like mom. I love her quiet smiles. Just like my middle daughter.

Penny has her sisters there for her. And they love the Asian culture and food, which would make it so much easier for her to adapt - not all American right away, I love how you continue to celebrate the kids cultures regularly, thus celebrating them.

One of my fav parts is hearing Penelope say that she chose this family. So often we think of it the other way, that the parents are choosing the child to adopt, but Penelope reminds everyone that isn’t always the case (which is good bc a new relationship goesboth ways!). The way she expresses her love for you two and let’s the world know that what she values most is having her family in her corner 😍- championing everything she does ❤️.

I was crying whilst listening to Penelope express how she feels, wow Amanda and Steven, I applaud you both for giving her and Lincoln another chance to life. I seriously believe with all my heart that Penelope will become the best she can because of your love and believe in her. I am in total awe of God amazing faithful to these kids in your care. Shalom

All the footage at the end IS SO ADORABLE that I can´t even start to write something more about it or it would turn out to be "essay" length... I only will say that those last photos and videos made me have to tears of joy. They are today all so beautiful children and especially their "souls" are so lovable from day 1 to the present. That´s what daily family love can do. Through "thick and thin". Penelope, first of all, your food looks all SO good, made me wish I could sit at that table and celebrate with you, so that´s what I´m doing from here right now!! You certainly were so brave, even though you were surely smart enough to feel they where a loving family, your conclusion to leave everything that linked you with your identity and trust your new family was a huge step for a 12 year old. When you post these adoption day celebration videos, the thing that always stands out for me is the time since they were adopted! It blows me away how they have only been with you for such a short amount time but it feels like they have always been part of your family! Love a good dumpling! Seafood is my favourite too! Angus laying on Stephen was funny! Penny made me cry when she was talking about her adoption journey! Baby Linc trying the food was precious!

I love how all of your kids enjoy all the different ethnic foods that are represented in the children that you’ve adopted. This is so good.
