MOVE Bumpers.... Worth it? E350 install

If you have the drive and the tools, many projects can be accomplished on your own. In this video I figured and try my hand at a weld-it-yourself bumper from MOVE Bumpers. I was surprised with the total package provided. Military discount, shipping included and all the hard work already done... how could I go wrong? For the money..... MOVE bumpers is hard to beat!

Cool deal. I gotta do one for mine. Also gotta raptor line my van body lower part and roof (wrapping the rest for now), and will do hvlp/raptor. That looked nice. I was researching it earlier.

I’m impressed. I just started my build on my 2006 E350 diesel. Mine came from Chicago with only 57K but a goodly amount of rust. My first project is new body and engine mounts. I’ll take my new mounts and lather them up with windshield urethane for more rigidity and longevity as in making them semi solid. I did this same on new Mercedes engine mounts and liked the results. Maybe I should make a video. Just the first of many van things to do

1.25 steel tubing. Same thing as the ladder. I know it sounds heavy but its really not. Its .063 wall plenty of strength for a roof rack and ladder while still being light-ish. Whole thing weights maybe 50lbs? I need to weigh the next one I build

Hey thanks for the videos. The van looks great, but just a couple of questions: I see you put on Cooper tires, and are you happy with them? Are they AT? Do you think you need 10 ply E rated tires? Thanks!

I really like the cooper tires. Yes, they are AT's.... These are ATP-I but the current line is ATP-II. Ive put a TON of miles on these... probably 20-30k... and they still look good and have a good amount of tread depth. Theyve handled great on and off road. Snow is the only issue I have with them. Hard question about the 10ply. My van is pretty light considering, only 6k. So I dont think it NEEDS 10ply. But with all the offroading we do, i like to tell myself the 10ply helps lol. I hope that answers your question!
