Hello Adalia, this is such a wholesome video. I have lived abroad for over 20 years and I thought about how to travel and earn at the same time. So I went abroad as a teacher. My employer sorts my visa, I get paid to travel to different locations to teach and learn about cultures. It has even given me permanent residency status on 3 of the 6 continents I have worked on. It’s why I am now uploading my knowledge and experience on my channel with hopes that it would shed light and inspire someone out there like me who needs to know.

In The Philippines, you can come as a tourist and extend your visa for up to 2 years! The only hassle this comes with is that you will have to renew your visa periodically.

@@chic9236Can you elaborate why? And if you have a preference where to live here in the United States, where would it be? A lot of people who decide to live outside the US, do so, because it’s cheaper for them and they can have a higher quality of life compared to staying in the US. But I’m curious what your take is.

@@AdaliaAborisade Hello Adaila!!!, I also looked up Dominica, and they 2 options, 1st 1, you can come in the country for 21 days, and then ask for a tourist extension, for up to 180 days, after that you can renew your visa annually and I think the website said 1,200 USD, . #. 2 you can invest 50k, or 100,000k and be a citizen and get your passport. I may opt for # 1, 6 months is good enough for me to get started, and get my bareing, so we'll see.....but I'll definitely post something in the Exodus Summit community group. hey@@lineaostri Peruvian here! I would say that I noticed that people outside South America are almost always surprised how expensive it can be. I would recommend to stay away from Lima and Cuzco if you have a tight budget. Condos in Miraflores(Lima) are 200-250k USD, just saying. But everywhere else you can live with 1000-1500 USD/month if you rent, even less if you own, but I don't recommend owning to expats because of the scammers and certain laws. There is also high levels of pollution, underemployment and criminality in our capital. That being said, Peruvian food is the best of the continent, the currency is stable, healthcare even though not the most advanced is relatively accessible and a lot cheaper, the amount of places that are worth visiting are endless, climate regions are diverse... Maybe I just don't like Lima hahaha

Just found your videos tonight ... very interesting Adalia ! Very solid advice I am from Florida but live in that 'other country' that speaks Portuguese since 2018 Came here while working on a container ship in 1980 and loved it. Worked like a dog till 2014, when I semi retired and moved down here. Been here off and on since 2002 Bought a nice 2br condo here in 2021 for $21,000 ! Spending about $600 a month on life ! You are right, when things don't feel right where you are - and you can't change a damn thing - get out and find a new more interesting, safer, cheaper and higher quality of life elsewhere ! Oddly enough, being from Florida but I have never been to Mexico ! In the next year we plan to come back to FL then make a trip to Mexico, probably MX City and Merida. I like their visas because they don't REQUIRE you to spend X amount of days there, unlike Portugal who demands you stay 6 months a year and deposit a large sum in one of their banks. As much as I like PT, I find their rules too demanding and inflexable. Can always visit PT visa free. Have visited 45 countries in my shipping career but few places I'd like to live in full time The short list to visit again ; Portugal, Malta ! , Greece, Spain, Netherlands, Japan PS : my wife is also a school teacher: History, English and Portuguese

Hey, just stumbled upon your channel and I subscribed after seeing your great info. I have a couple of comments: 1) I have permanent residency in Panama, and I love it here. However, I would say that living comfortably on $1500 a month in the most popular areas of the country would be a great stretch. 2) I am currently applying for a temporary residency in Argentina, and while the sum that you are quoting is accurate, my lawyer in Argentina says that requests for the rentista visa that show under US$2000 a month are not being approved, mostly due to runaway inflation. Thanks!

Hi Adalia. I have a quick question about the Degree requirement for Ecuador. Do they accept an Associate degree? I have an A.S. Degree, but not a bachelor’s. But, it’s still a degree. I’m certainly not sure Ecuador will be my choice, but I like to consider all my options. Thank you for this video.

hey, writing this not out of being negative but out wanting to help people who look like me. alot of the countries you mentioned don't allow dual citizenship on their path with to citizenship. people would have to give up their pervious citizenships to become a citizen. for example, Indonesia and the Philippines, if you aren't a naturally born citizen. i subbed to your Channel. i wish you luck!

You are right about that. FYI: The country of Brazil and also Belize.. are asking for a minimum of $2,000 USD a month = (Two Thousand). Thank goodness my wife and qualify without worrying or working. But I suspect that all countries will keep raising the ante on newcomers.

I notice that you list income and savings together. Are they interchangeable? For instance, if you have at least $1350 USD in savings do you still have to be getting a certain amount of money per month? That aspect confused me. As for Mexico, I wonder if you meant savings of at least $4000 and not having to be earning that monthly. That would seem a bit excessive.

I mentioned the savings amounts for the programs that published them for Mexico you likely need somewhere between $40-60,000 usd in savings
