I did actually manage to repackage it and donate it to the youth room at my church.

Argh I bought this for my kid and cannot get the marble catapult to make it to the track that goes to the bathtub. It keeps missing. Just torture!

Make sure it's snapped in all the way. I had that same problem.

I think the whole game was larger which probably made it easier.

Question. Do you think the quality is worst then the old version, say 1990? I was listening to a podcast the other day and the host mentioned playing mouse trap and felt the quality of the game declined. I too feel a lot of modern versions of games are of really bad quality.

I have heard this same feedback but since I haven't owned a previous version since the 70s / 80s I wouldn't remember other than remembering that I had no problem getting the old version to work and could not get this to work.

I dunno… today I watched four kids (ages 5-11) set this up and play with it just by looking at the box. They seemed to like it.

I remember enjoying it when I was a kid. Coming back to it as an adult was torture though. I'm glad they had fun.

Yup. I am a grandfather and had an earlier version of the game in the ‘60’s. It worked. This 2021 version is almost impossible to get working. POS

I knew it wasn't just me!

It sucks now. Horrible. The ball always falls out.

More time spent on actual assembly would help. After you have problems inserting the board you zip through. That’s why I watched and was disappointed

Sorry. I hope the title wasn't misleading. I try my best to not put out clickbait. I merely meant that my putting it together was a part of the overall video.
