I first came here to look for comments to confirm whether it's a good series or not. And I came back here to tell you guys that it was indeed a masterpiece. The middle episodes were confusing but it will all make sense once you reach episode 15-20. The more you understand the story the more you get sad and feel bad for every characters. Every details of that story is so perfect. So don't hesitate, watch it now.

Seriously though, each of the characters are so tragically written. Everyone is suffering, including the predator. It's a good thriller movie, and the acting feel so real.

@@kristianvideos9454 a lot actually happens, but I'll try. (Major spoilers) (if too long, there's a tldr at the bottom) So like, turns out the predator wasnt Yohan but it's actually Bareum. Bareum doesnt know due to brain surgery, but he eventually remembers after a few months (?). A lot of things happened, Bareum wants to turn himself to the police. He succeeds, kills his dad in prison, then he dies. Though i wouldnt consider this a bad end, more like bittersweet. It kinda ended well for everyone in the end, despite the sad stuffs happening. Tldr - Bareum dies, tho it isnt really a bad end. He was punished, but also got the one thing he always wished as a kid. The main characters are good, plot good, soundtrack good. Intense build up.

@@loui8350 It’s really not, it’s popular because of it’s original & immaculate plot, which is quite unusual for a K-drama that’s not romantic based, so it was intriguing & refreshing to see; some viewers have a thing for physical appearance so that would explain some of the character’s huge following & even the show’s gain in popularity, then it was released on Netflix so that’s a bonus. Personally, I think Squid Game opened doors for other underrated K-dramas, apart from rom-coms to be taken seriously, worldwide and I’m beyond glad that it was released.

It's been 2 yrs and I cant get over with this drama. The best kdrama for me. It's not best just coz of some popular actor, but the amazing script! Kudos to the writer, they pulled out this thought provoking drama.

@@nandana6181 Yes, I highly recommend this kdrama. It does not revolve only on knowing who the psychopath is. Even if you knew who it is, there are a lot more to see. It is full of stories and plot twists that makes sense. Aside from that, the performance of the casts from the child actors to the main casts is excellent. It is something you shouldn't miss.😊 Well for me, I even rewatched it many times although I knew what will happen because of those reasons.

⚠️Spoiler This drama is soo much underrated. The amount of twists and the storyline was insane! I don't have words to describe how good it is! I finished watching it and it isn't getting off my brain. Lee seung gi did such a great job! I am his fan from this drama! Everything was unpredictable, you never know what's gonna happen next, how things are connected! But at last, I felt bad from Jung Ba-raum. I cried in the last episode so much when he was no longer a psychopath monster and was repenting. And when he died, saying to his younger self, "you are no longer a monster", it took all my tears away.He was born that way, his life was also being secretly controlled all the time from the very beginning. Did he deserve such a life? Did he deserve such an ending of his life? It's been a while since I've finished watching it but things are still on my mind. I can't seem to forget Ba-raum and stop feeling bad for him. I wish there could be a happy ending with him and Bong-yi being together. I couldn't accept his death like this at all. I still weep sometimes when I remember the ending. I know that it's all fictional but still, this drama left such a big impact on my mind,I can't seem to get over it. I love this drama. It will always be one of my most favourites and will always be in my heart 💔

FOE is very very good but the concept is definitely not new. Mouse on the other hand has an unconventional plot, that’s what makes the drama one of a kind Both are Masterpiece 🤌

I even felt sorry and sad for the people,who have such related mental illnesses and problems, at the end when he hugged his young self. I after hearing many real life serial killing and other crimes where such people are there,it really hurted me that they are not even conscious about what they are doing, unknown of what is right or wrong 😑😔

The best in 2021

im on episode 9, being a big fan of Squid Games, Hellbound, The King: Eternal Monarch, Alchemy of Souls. i had watched a few episodes of this in between those shows and recently was able to continue watching from where i left off and reluctantly found where the story left off and i thought they couldnt have done any better when the story seemed to be most intense and they just do it again- like Vikings tv show, it continues to deliver high quality acting and amazing realistic scenarios

After finishing the series I laugh at myself for how many hilarious theories I was thinking about

I'm on ep 7. So far the series was amazing but I was kinda spooked though. The scenes looked way too real but the story is really captivating so I can't even leave it half way dang it

Today 2023 September I can't watch another crime drama because of mouse that was the best crime drama and I can't like others.. 😂

Spoiler: He was killer and psychopath before losing his memory but after Yohan (the doctor) brain was transplanted to him, he became a normal human but he still had some psychopathic instincts ... He's not villian but Anti hero

@@TokyoDogz it also has scifi genre due to that happening, so i guess Bareum was the first person to ever have a successful brain transplant in the story. Anyway, some major spoilers: Yohan and Bareum got into a fight (Bareum's head was bashed, Yohan got shot.) Bareum lost his memories and gained some emotions through Yohan (brain transplant by the neurosurgeon, Headhunter). Since he lost memories, he also thought that the psychopathic killer was Yohan and he thought that his psychopathic urges were because of him. This goes on until he recovers all his memories, and then he gets filled with guilt and remorse for what he did. He then tries to clear Yohan's name and pay for what he did to the victims.

After the 8th episode I'm convinced the doctor only killed Professor Daniel while Lee Seung Gi was the real headhunter's son and killed the rest of the victims, including the grandma. Seung Gi was the actual psychopath police were looking for but man was smart enough to make it seem like the doctor was the culprit. - When the grandma was murdered, she said "Poor Bongi (the granddaughter)", maybe that's not because she was dying but because she knew she led a serial killer into the house. - Seung Gi told the police the murder was left handed, but Bongi who also fought the murderer at the church was sure that person was right-handed. This only means 1) Seung Gi was lying to distract the police; 2) Seung Gi couldn't remember (i doubt this because without certainty why the hell he had to tell the cops that, if he was a good person) - The doctor murdered Daniel was because Daniel realized who the real son of Han Seo Jun the headhunter was. He wanted to cover this up to protect his fake mother as he truly cared for her. As shown in the movie he told his girlfriend (PD Choi) that he was scared after killing Daniel, simply meaning he had emotions (psychopaths don't have feelings) and that was his first kill. - The doctor may have all the pictures of the victims at his place because he had the genius gene and was eager to chase down the real serial killer. Too bad he was framed and shot dead the moment he came to kill Seung Gi - The kid who killed his entire family 15 years ago was Seung Gi. He told Bongi he got his house thanks to his parents' insurance. The doctor had only one parent - the mother aka Han Seo Jun's ex-wife who's alive and kickin - Lastly, isn't it too soon to reveal the real serial killer? LOL. So I think the twist is Seung Gi was too smart (before the surgery) to get caught. After the surgery though, he lost his memories and forgot he used to kill people for fun while trying to look like a good person. So he transformed from a true psychopath to the 1% genius and helped solve murder cases with his genius brain

Wrong! The doctor did not try to kill Daniel, he saved him. The point of the movie is the company “Oz” doing an experiment with these boys. They wanted to prove that those with the killer gene needed to be aborted. They keep the killer alive and wanted him to kill at least 10 people to prove this point but the brain surgery messed that all up.
