at the LED mouse laser part, my mouse won't work if it's not using the original red LED. I tried to change it to white LED, but it doesn't work. I thought it's just a bad LED, so i test it on another LED place on the same mouse PCB and the white LED lights up. Any help/suggestion?

The led works for some time if you touch a screwdriver between its two leads . It gets short n glows after that. Also led gets dim like theres some problem with its supply, maybe with the capacitor charging problem...please help

Hello, I tried this method and it worked but as soon as I stop moving the mouse, the LED turns off and I have to touch the solder again.

my mouse led doesn’t light up it still can move a little, then I change LED now its light up but cant move i have try to remove it then solder again, and make sure solder properly, but still the sensor is not working even the LED is light up, all other mouse button is fine. do you know the solution?

if u dont have the iron thingy,then simply go to the shop whre u brought the mouse from(or any elctrical shop) if it has a warranty card.then they will fix it more greatly.

robert johnson issue may be many...but consider checking without cover/housing...whether button clicks or not...i hav issue because i screwed forcely once that prevent clicking.

This "soldering wire" you speak of, is actually just called solder.

yes of course...dont thik that way,think this way:if you dont try this,you already lost your mouse..if you try,there may be chance of getting back,,i did it to multiple optical as well as laser mouse..some needs change of reflectors and lasers,,otherwise it may worth it..Make local electrician do it if you have no equipment..

first check if your driver is installed and working properly in device manager.if that is fine,then probably your laser/optical sensor is damaged..you have to change the sensor.its better to get new mouse then change that.

yeah but my mouse is working after sometime it hangs and mouse pointer is not moving but there is power on mouse and detected by device manager also . when I go to sleep in windows 10 and wakes up it detects and works

aSa Siyaddeyy .mine was stopped working in few minutes and when i unplug n plug again ,it runs but there was lag...1.if you have warranty,try to reach service center. 2.if light didnot light up ,try as in video. 3.check driver update . 4.or try in another computer with default driver,sometime driver update may cause this issue.

Hey just watched your video and my mouse now is fine but sometimes it jitters randomly and sometimes it just doesn't work at all, do u have any idea on how to know if the soldering is done right

+Stefan Gherga check USB port that you use by using other usb devices like pendrive and additional mouse driver when it connects to your pc in drivers list.
