Idk if you’re watching on mobile but on mobile if you scroll over to that section of the video you can see that is where the audio is the loudest. I cried to this. He's just so calm and relaxed. I haven't felt that in so long. I want to be like this mouse. Just happily and blissfully enjoying some M&Ms. Even though I'm crying, I'm relaxed. Thank you.

This mouse feels like that person who only replies with a "yeah", "that's crazy", or "mhm" when you're expressing your feelings. To me, that is calming. Having someone who doesn't try to judge you or give you advice. Just someone to... be there. Lift the weights off your shoulders without a word. Sure, you can do the same thing to a brick wall, but it would be more comforting to have a beating heart listen as your words go through one ear and out the other. Sometimes in your life, you need that type of person

I'm working a job over summer far away from home (college age), nobody lives with me and I often find myself eating alone or not really speaking for almost an entire day. There is a sort of content in the routine, I'm not unhappy, but late at night if the right music hits me I find myself wishing I was home and not sitting alone in my room waiting for the time to pass by. Sometimes I feel exactly like the mouse in this video. I often think about my family and sometimes wonder if it is worth it spending all this time away from the only thing that is actually important to me.

well they didn't have to play sad music, any music at all for that matter, could've just let us hear him eat...

A while ago, I felt something die inside me,I feel the happiness come back to life as our friend group patches old rivalries up and makes peace again as everyone had been in a massive argument. With things settled and things calmed down as we got back together, this rat eating the m&m was playing on the call that got everyone back together. This genuinely makes me so happy. Since everyone opening up I wanna too I’m a 21 year old who loves the gym I was always skinny weighing around 115 and I’ve been trying to bulk but I could never eat enough until I started eating really late at night all by myself in my kitchen felt lonely but until I remembered about this mouth and his chewing along with the soothing music makes me feel calm and relaxed something I rarely feel I love this mouse and I will watch him through out my bulking Weighed myself last week I now weigh 160lbs :)

i started watching this video a year ago with my best friend as a joke, but as the video was going on, we started to feel relaxed by it and from then, every time we’d eat alone, we’d watch this video with the video being the only light turned on in the room. now we don’t see each other as often since we kinda lost our friendship, but coming back to this video took me to te exact point where we got the last time we played this. i just hope we’ll make a comeback one day.

It's 22:33pm on a Halloween night and all my friends are partying somewhere without me and I'm all alone at home eating my cereal, because i don't have enough energy to eat something serious and this gives me a little bit of hope that I'm not alone, thank you mouse for being there for everyone. Hey Luis i hope you're doing okay. I feel you, my friend was having a halloween party and I my mom didint let me go there . When they all were having fun I was left in my room drawing to keep my mind off thinking about this.

The little mouse just eating is awfully comforting and it's easy to understand why. This little fella isn't sad, angry, happy, or joyful. He's just relaxing and having a meal. A lot of us can relate or want to be in this moment. Just sitting and eating without any thoughts or with many thoughts in our head that aren't reflecting outside. It's a common experience most people have had. Just nom noms and thoughts.

I love how the simplicity of a mouse just eating candy and a nostalgic music in the background can create a masterpiece. When i watch the video i think of the fact that we should appriciate life more. The song makes me remember all the times i went home from a cold walk where i just took a shower and went to bed. since some ppl are talking about what they're doing rn and how they're feeling, guess i'll share too. im currently studying for my last exam for the semester, kinda relaxing a bit though. this came up on my reccomended while i was looking for something to watch while studying. this little mouse has made me think about how ive been feeling recently. just around a week or two ago, i was a little ball of stress worrying about my exams and due assignments. but when the exams actually came, i had this feeling of peace, just like this mouse. i wanna be more like this mouse. no overthinking, no feelings of sadness, fear, or anger; just enjoying the moment. but till then, i'll relax with this mouse eating his little m&m :D

Last time I listened to this, my best friend was alive. He died two weeks ago. Found this song in my recommendations and cried so hard when I heard the tune again. I used the song to comfort myself, because he was dying at the time, and I needed a way to relax. It just hits different now that he's no longer with me. In some way, the mouse reminds me of him. Reminds me of when he was still alive. I feel lonely right now, but at least I know that *he's* here for me. Have fun flying high above the clouds, Calvin.

Damn, this made me realize how beautiful things are, and how everyone deserves something good in life, this rat shows how we can all be peaceful and calm, it’s always nice to know how everyone can be like this rat, and I, PrimeMuto1210 have one thing to say, and it’s thank you.

This little guy reminds me of my hamster and I don’t want him to ever feel alone so I’m always there for him every night when he wakes up to play. And he gets to come out and free roam in the bedroom that I hamster proofed for him and I sit with him and play with him. Never take any pet for granted no matter how small they may be. Because they may be a small part just passing through our life but we are literally their entire life and they at 100% at our mercy. He’s never stuck in his enclosure. He comes out every night to roam and explore. I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I was the reason a small innocent creature felt alone. So he knows that every day for the rest of his short life he will always have his human friend and he will be loved and spoiled.

You know, I’m pretty happy right now. I have a wonderful partner, some friends, a hobby. But yet I still find myself here, accepting the emptiness this video brings. While reading the comments and seeing the mixture of happy , silly things and sad things. That’s what makes things special, the different audiences coming together, different backgrounds, different points in life, different experiences. All coming together to watch a clay mouse eat a M&M and read others tales.

This video is place of solace. A retreat from the rushing rivers of time. Disconnected from stress and responsibility just sitting here enjoying the company of this mouse eating M@M's. I come to this video in times of stress and hardship and it grounds me and says its alright take a minute go back when you're ready.

To be honest even though its probably a joke and has been said a thousand times in this comment section, but watching this video honestly gives me comfort. The stresses caused by worldly problems seem to slowly drain away, replaced by feelings of focus and peace. He is almost a form of therapy independent from that of a therapist, like someone using outlets such as the gym for therapy, this mouse serves as one outlet. I have never truly gone through any traumatic experiences in my life so far, and I am thankful for that, but for those who have I pray that just listening to this mouse and sharing a moment with you will give you some peace and comfort in this world of cruelty. Although tragedy is something that is often not able to be reversed, it is important not to let you lose yourself in the resulting emotions engulf you, and consume you if you give into the despair. Although sadness and grief is a part of the healing process, if those same emotions are able to take hold and control your life, then there will be more to worry for than just your grief. From my readings of this comment section I must say that this is one of the last truly sincere corners of the internet. People gathering and sharing how even something as minute as a video of a clay-mation mouse paired with some excellent music can cause us to reflect and be able to speak our minds to strangers of our struggles and life experiences. I must say this comment section is one of the last examples of hope that has redeemed my faith in humanity. This mouse genuinely helps with my eating disorder. Just the little mouse sitting there enjoying it's snack brings me so much joy. I always think of myself as the little mouse when I eat and it makes me feel better. I feel hope that one day things will be ok. :)

I honestly feel this way too.. Every time I play this video I don’t really think of myself as the comfort to the rat but like you said the rat comforting us. I don’t know I guess I sound crazy but I find this peaceful. This mouse eating a single red-orange M&M makes me feel safe. (I know this was posted 4 months ago but I just felt the need to say it idk- 💀)

I accidentally fell asleep while watching this and woke up having watched the ENTIRE 10 hours.

It made me cry looking at these comments, I wasn’t sad nor happy, I was at peace. So many people experiencing different things, going through hard times or good times, sad times, or happy times coming together because of a mouse eating some candy. This is the most beautiful video I have ever seen, I hope you all live your lives to the fullest and never take anything for granted. 🥹

This is the type of stuff i watch when i just saw my parents arguing while i thinking its my fault theyre fighting and that they probably didn’t want me while my dad just keeps adding me into the argument when i dont want to be in it.

This is a very special video. I struggle sometimes with the feeling of emptiness, and with depression. The seemingly simple visuals and music are calming in a way I cannot explain. I feel every emotion while watching. Anger at myself for not changing, sadness toward what is all around me, content with knowing that others understand me, and more. Damn bro, although I am not diagnosed with depression…sometimes I feel as if I should be. Things are becoming the way they are because I allowed it to, I’ve always had a discipline problem even with the things I’m supposed to be passionate about and leisure activities…such as gaming for example, my tolerance of pushing through challenging situations has become thinner than paper. If it’s too difficult, give up. If it takes too much time, don’t even try. I don’t spend much effort into anything worthwhile anymore, my days has mostly consisted of aimlessly browsing KZread videos and not even being able to finish watching them before moving onto something else. Really, there is no one else but me that is responsible for my eventual demise as a functional adult. I forgot what it was like to be angry at myself when I couldn’t be better, well because I used to be very angry…but revelation means nothing if nothing changes.
