Mark, I'm impressed. You actually paid attention in English class. Most of the other guys your brothers, The goon boys and most people of your generation say things like "grinded" and the word is ground. Lol. You said it right. I'm glad your back on the E-30. It holds a special place with me, as I have an all original 89 325i. It is a survivor not a restored car. She has been garaged kept since new. I am the third owner. I need to pull the cover off her and put some gas and a battery in her and drive it. I have been following you since you started working on your E-30. I cant wait to see yours done. Keep the great content up.

im pretty sure that etch primer is not to be complete coverage , its best if you use one or two dust coats

This is the car that got me subscribed to you guys when you first got it. Then I subscribed to vtuned and recently to 23rd garage and have watched everything you guys have worked on even if it’s a vehicle I have no interest in or even hate. I’m glad you’ve been getting back on the e30 lately. I’m a big bmw enthusiast and have an ‘85 e30 with a salvage title I’ve had for 6 years. I used an ‘88 hood, valance, fenders, and interior and also had to get a rear tail panel and a rear bumper from eBay and it’s basically complete minus the windshield and rear window locking strips. So it’s like 4 e30’s in one lol. Unfortunately the motor now has a very loud rod knock I believe and it’s gonna need a motor before I can enjoy driving it again. I’ve turned my attention now to a ‘98 GTI VR6 I’ve had for almost 20 years that hasn’t been driving In over 6 years. Bunch of rust repair and bondo and all that good stuff lol.

Nice work! Loving the e30 M3 cars (from my era) they are so beautiful and along with the original Audi Quattro, were world beaters during those years. Just go K series, cheaper and so many more parts. You could also use original BMW transmission.

Not bended, it’s bent ;) Can’t wait for the next video on this Bmw, also put the boot lining rubbers in when measuring, hope the back windows will fit or else will have to use Perspex . Was the owner of the Mazda ( not mozda) happy with the hood / front bumper gap? Oh yes , Bmw won with a BMW engine not a Honda engine , but K20 is good enough. ;) Goonsquad removed that engine because it was faulty ?

The S2000 engines are F20C & F22C1 and not K-series. Goonzquad had two S2000 engines , one of them has a warped cylinder-head the other one is propably fine.

​@@kenrossaukrsa nope , all s2000 have redtop engines but these are not Ks . The F20C has a red valve cover with a black iginition coil cover and the F22C1 has a red valve cover with a golden ignition coil cover.

where it matters I buy quality. Such as 3m Platinum Body filler and lesional primer. The etch is just a grabber coat for the primer and is not exposed to the elements so it will be fine :)
