    The mental concentration to ride this fast between trees, rocks and dust must be intense. Watching this makes me think that only a few people in the world can ride with this speed and precision. Truly amazing skills, almost unbelievable!.

    He's just so good at keeping his momentum. If anyone ever wondered what it meant when you have to go slow to go fast, this is the perfect example of that but on another level. I don't get how other pros haven't caught on by now with all these videos he's outing out showing his riding. It's probably just harder than it looks. Graham you are the master. Keep on beating these kids asses haha

    Suspect that may happen next time! He's very lucky it happened where it did, could have cost him a whole lot more time if it'd been fifteen minutes earlier... I get why they don't run wrap around ally handguards, but surprised they don't fit pivot levers to the bikes instead...

    EvilGTV why don’t they run wrap arounds? Mine have saved me tons of times

  • @EvilGTV

    @EvilGTV

    6 жыл бұрын

    With the wrap arounds there is said to be a risk of getting your hand caught behind them, and breaking a wrist. Not so much of an issue IMO for an average hack like me in the woods, but in a race like that, I could quite easily see someone stacking into you in some of the obstacles and causing it to happen. Same deal with some of the steep step ups they hit, if the bike gets away from under you suddenly it wouldn't be that hard to get caught up. The flag guards will flex open in that situation - it'll hurt, but much less likely to snap a wrist, and you also have a chance to get your hand out the side. All that said, I've got wrap arounds on mine - the flags aren't so good when you clip a tree in single track, and mine have saved my levers too.

    I would bet the hand guards are stock, to promote, if you will, the stock handguards on this FACTORY bike he is riding. Aren't they Graham. This has probably been brought up many times, by the factory riders. But it's their bike. So.....he follows orders. We love ya Graham!

    I am going to say the carb version is better for racing for now. The EFI is to pass emission for road use, meaning they are likely choking the engine down a bit to make it pass at the cost of power. The carb is user tunable with jetting to how he wants it and is used to it. But what do I know.
