Winter in the North American wilderness cannot be conquered. At best, it is endured. And only by those who will fight tooth and nail for the privilege of survival. Winter after bone-chilling winter, the Mountain Men have relied on ingenuity, tenacity and determination to weather the worst that the elements could bring to bear. But this season, that cold-forged mettle will be tested like never before.

It would mean the world to meet Tom n his wife. Theu are quite the Duo when it comes to "Hardwork!"
just the boys chilling on a self-crafted canoe
That canoe was so low at the back with both of them in it. That other fella is heavy!!!
Tom is the most genuine
Un believable the balls on these two old timers. Hats off all around what a beautiful piece of wood art. I'm loving these video, s. Guy, s half their age would be struggling. Will be a sad day when all this knowledge disappeares with the last mountain man. All the best. Tony
I would give anything to have Tom's knowledge! Such a brilliant old school mind... could spend so much time listening/ learning from a man like that... makes me wish I had a dad growing up...
What an accomplishment! Tom is just awesome! Love his craftsmanship! Should be more men like him. Lord bless him and his family.
This world needs more nice people like Tom.

I know I would be much much nicer if I lived in the mountains with coyotes and bear instead of people!! 💯
I love this man and his humble life style keep it up Big Tom
That canoe came out freakin awesome
Absolutely wonderful gents beautiful job
In a clash of clans World, Tom is the master builder!
I hope I'm as active at 78 as Tom is. Going to miss him on the show. Hope Florida is to your liking Tom and Nancy.
Tom Oar is astonishing, amazing, wish world were full of real men like him
I'd love to go live with him for a winter just to help out and soak up the knowledge Tom and his Wife have to offer..lots of good info between the 2
I've rolled a lot of logs, alone. To save your back, lay down two saplings, like rails, then use two rollers on em to lessen friction, and use a third to bridge for the the next shove.
Tom Oar and his beautiful wife are by far my favorite couple to watch on Mountain Men. Listen Tom shows how men should be how we should work hard and do what needs to be done. Looking at men today is really sad how far we've fallen. This country was built on hard work loyalty love and teamwork. Most people today have no respect or common sense it's so sad to see. Thank God I was raised better. Im not better than anyone else but I have morals and I'll help people in need and I respect my elders. Where did we go wrong???? God bless and I love everyone who is good and decent.
imagine when the summer hits and that undried wood starts to warp and crack, the "museum" will have a pretzel
6:20 Ol Tom, Dont rock the 🚤 Boat 😄😅😂
How cool is that. Floating a conoe you hand crafted
I am looking for the episode where Tom Oar is whittling a walking stick. I want to make one too but watch his video again.
Amazing
So it does float… nice
Awesome canoe
Wished Tom Orr his own show
Soy Argenttina me encanta este programa hombres de montaña. Cuando pasaran por history la Nueva Temporada ⁉️🤔
GOD BLESS EVREYONE AND BE SAFE I REALLY LIKE THE STORY
And some folk say he's up there still
Well done Tom
Dont split or shet ya pants pushing it lol
Jack Oar Tom's brother helped Tom build museum boat wish he would have been here with Tom and Will in the canoe.
Tom still has the little boy in him and rodeo rider,so cold, very cold...truck heater work ?..
7.45 😁
cool
Sure hope those waders are bootless
Man it looks cold around there. No wonder squirrels bury their nuts in the winter
somebody please get a message to them and tell them DENTAL FLOSS is great for sewing stuff like hides and pelts! Prewaxed and super strong. I've used it for years to put soles on slippers and it outlasts the slippers even when they're washed many, many times!
I gripe about getting out the bed in the morning. These dudes are three times my age. With three times the energy.
That impressed me in law growers
Just imagine how long that would take if you didn't use a chainsaw

No. It'no good idea for you to become youtober . So your reaction on success and looses will be hurt you. And then if you will not become a good youtuber you will be in a bad mood with this. So you can go another way and do your accent of mind on what you really like to do and post that in youtube and do not wait for success. It will be like your instagramm when you want to show another people part of your life. It will be not FOR youtube or likes. It will be for you yourself. So if there will be success or not for your videos, it will not hurt you so much as in 1 case.

Trying
Tom, 12ft is just not long enough to be stable. It should be more like 20 ft, But it is only for display purposes . Good looking work. The real ones I've seen were very shallow and I'm sure it would get you wet, but it will keep you afloat. Different styles for diff. regions.
For everbody who is listen 🗣🗣 dont giv up we in this together🤜🏾🤛🏾 i pray if yall wanna be KZreadrs like or Great dont give up 💛
like 👍 👍
Tomoar.......TOM or........TOM Oar...is mountain in Albanija.....
You use the word “authentic” pretty loosely. He used a chainsaw to cut it down and hollow it out. Give me a break.

Don't give ur self a stroke bud . it's obviously a show, not to mention the two guys building it aren't spring chickens.. So how about u give them a break? Dig up all of your primitive tools, and let's see how good ur canoe comes out.. I'd haha actually we would love to see ur talented craftsmanship .
Biden wants to be president and Tom here wants to try out his dugout canoe. I know I like Tom here better. 😁
Honestly you could remove all members and leave tom people still going to watch just change it to the mountain man
Dont worry about damage he put half a dozen holes in it building the darn thing

A 300lb canoe out of a tree/ $5,000. Lmao. What a joke. Better yet one with a hole patched. Lol 50 bucks maybe. 5000 bucks keep dreaming
I know they are older but two men and 300 lbs is nothing. That could have been lifted

The thing about something like that is: it doesn't have handles. Not easy to get a grip on.
