Beautiful scenery and impressive shots. You've got talent, man. Keep it up.
I like both formats, mainly because your choice of music in the visual-only is ASMR and because your editing explains the whole experience. Keep it up. Thanks, Chase.!!
I think a healthy mix of both is nice! Just make whatever you enjoying making!

For sure, Evan! I enjoy both so I will likely continue a doing a mix👍
I think the variety of styles in your videos is what makes your channel that much more appealing. Don't change anything!
I really love it when you talk on the videos and express your thoughts! ❤️
Such a beautiful video. My goodness we live in a beautiful part of the country!
This format is great! Reminds me of Kraig Adams’ videos.
Thanks Chase! I enjoy going n your adventures and being a part of your everyday life. Just your Grandma talkin’ .

My favorites are still the vlog style but everything here is awesome. 12/10 on all of em!
I enjoy both, this one was particularly beautiful and relaxing.
I really enjoy watching your videos, and I truly believe that no matter what type of videos you make, whether it’s a vlog type of video, or a gear one, or even something like this. It’s always nice watching them, and enjoying the way you edit them and the places you visit. Keep up the great work Chase!

Love it. Reminds me of Kraig Adam’s videos - give me some peace and meditation through nature when I can’t get out myself
I prefer all styles. Its more about the production value for me and making sure it's clean, crisp, and professional. That's why I like all the videos you produce. Keep it up with all styles.
I love all of your content - I agree with the other comment talking about the chill music and the ASMR thrown in - it's great to mix it up!
Just keep making what you enjoy. It’s the only way to do the KZread thing long-term. Your crowd will evolve with you ✊🤙 good work my friend
It is a nice change up… but I enjoy watching your projects too. Well done Chase.

Great video! I enjoyed the peaceful nature of this. It felt like I was right there on the trip. All of your videos are great!👍🏻
Cool! I road this same route (I think) w/ the IWBP group in Mar/April of 2022 (1st BP experience) and again in 2023. I remember the road was A LOT more pothole-y. I love your BP’ing and Subaru videos. Thanks for your content!
Both formats work for me. Great trip. Thanks for sharing.
Love your videos Chase! I agree with others who have commented that both formats are good and your choice of music in the background goes really well with the beautiful scenery. As a fellow subaru outback owner, I would selfishly like to see more videos of your outback in your future vids 😝 Keep up the good work!

As an avid cyclist, road, gravel & mountain biking, I love this video brother!! All of your videos rock, but this one has a special place in my heart. Cheers from Minnesota!

Another great video dude. Epic ride and scenery. Take care. Also, since you asked, it's nice having the mix of formats you do. Heightens the anticipation not knowing what style the next vid will be.
I agree with most folks that both formats are great. I'm really into gear and camp cooking videos, so it's nice to see videos you've made in the past where you incorporate your meals/coffee making and just general camping/hiking. Keep it up man!
It was beautiful, definitely like this format. Funny I just got back from mountain biking and watched this while stretching. Keep up the great work!

Thanks! Ahhh nice, I should be doing the same. My knee is a bit pissed off today but I’m pumped to get back out!
I definitely appreciate your videos with dialogue. However, short videos without talking like this are refreshing and pleasant. So I say keep what you've been doing and throw something like this in once in a while. BTW Nice choice in hot springs. I just went to that specific one for the first time last week. Was disappointed to see someone had left a bunch of tea lights and there were some bottle caps, but I'll just bring a trash bag next time. Also I saw a comment where someone mentioned your Outback videos. Those are my favorite as well! I have a Crosstrek that I'm slowly putting together for camping. I'll be taking it out for a night of camping next to this hot spring soon. Thanks for all of your content and keep it coming!
Hi Chase... Personally, for me, I love it when you talk through your videos with the odd occasional cinematic shots with accompanying music. It helps to tell the story a little for me. Keep up the great work. Camping, cars and mountain biking. 👌🏼 Living the dream. Envious fan in the UK.

Hey Chase! Your videos are amazing and so relaxing to watch. I like the education type formats, and I like the ASMR formats also, but I like hearing you talk too. Your photography is amazing, and music you choose, fits it all so well. So anything you wish to present to us is awesome. It will be interesting seeing winter exit and spring and summer unfolding before us. Idaho is beautiful. Jay here, a fan in Texas.
Both!
Love your stuff, Chase. I like both formats, but I prefer talking ones more. I will watch both though!

I honestly like a kind of hybrid of the two styles. I like just the nature and the beauty, but I also like when you chat with the camera. One of the biggest reasons I followed you, is your personality. I know just doing the cinematic nature theme is great-and is very pretty, but I think you also lose a bit of you in it, if you don't talk at all. Love it though bro... I need to make it back out to Idaho again soon, so freaking beautiful there.
Great video like always! Beautiful rig 👌🏼

Nice Video - I like all forms you do.
Honestly both formats are neat to experience. I love your choice of music and the sheer work you put into capturing the footage and editing it. As for now, I think what you are doing is working. Eventually, when the channel grows much larger you could even split into two separate channels, one for no talking, adventure type stuff and the other with more technical talks. Just my opinion though. I am very glad I found your videos about 6 months back. I grew up in the U.P. of Michigan which is very similar in ways to the scenic stuff you like to explore (minus the mountains). Now I live in Indiana and man, I miss the ability to get out into nature so getting to watch your stuff is refreshing. Keep up the great work!
I mix a both cinematic shots and vlog style content is what I prefer. I find it way more interesting and engaging when you provide context and info from dialogue and voice overs

I liked it a lot…..a well shot and edited video is always a fun watch. That said, I am also a Subaru owner and loved your Subaru inspired camping/hiking/riding videos with some talking woven through. That is prob my favorite style. Either way…happy when you post a new vid!

Very good content. Keep it up. On a sidenote I got really bad red spider mites from that hot spring😫
Kraig Adams has a nice format. Most of it is like this, with some talking and explaining of his route/details at the end (sorta similar to what you did here requesting feedback). I think his style works really well and I really enjoy it, so needless to say I really enjoyed this video of yours and hope to see more!

Another great vid. You ever think about a gravel bike? Last year I bought a Salsa Cutthroat. Really a mountain bike with drop bars. Built for a race that spans continental divide. Lots of mounts for gear packs. I don’t work for Salsa. Love the vids. Format works great. I watch lots of dashcam vids of road trips and turn sound off. So this is just fine. Keep up good work.
HI Christopher, There are three reasons why I'd watch your videos (in this order): 1) How to find the location; 2) What it looks like, and, 3) how to camp there. No dialogue gives me only one reason to watch. Without information about how to get there, I can't even dream about visiting, which provides me no reason to watch. Nonetheless, t was a beautiful video. Thank you.
Nice video! I always love seeing Idaho through your drone and your adventures. I prefer videos with some commentary and education. I think you have a good balance of commentary and silence in most of your videos though. I would love to see you talk about your bike!

Also (after reading more Comments, I do like watching your gear reviews. I like the way you got them, what they are/do, how you use them, and the pros & cons of the products. Thanks. I observe that your evaluations are appreciated by many of your subscribers, too. 💕

Nice video. Would be interested in seeing a video on how you did the filming. Solo MTB films is not a thing maybe this is your niche. Thanks for sharing you camera gear. A bit of talking is always good. Maybe at the end you can talk about gear and trip details.
You almost ended up in that spring 😂

Cool ass video, man. Is this "Hot Springs" Cali?
thank you for video. Where is trailhead? name?
You've got a great voice for your style. But pushing your filming this far to truly capture the environment was the perfect time for silence. Well done. Make a mix of both.
Love the video. A short summary of location, date, temperature, and your plans would be good. No need to talk after that unless you need to explain something. Your video was similar to those by Kraig Adams.

@@ChaseChristopher1 Lots of different styles out there. WanderWomen combine talking about their plans and their day with mostly no talking during the hike. Venture4wD is similar with some talking at various points, telling a story. Sailing Merewether has lots of talking because it is more of a glimpse of their life on a sailboat. Saunter Beyond had talking at the beginning and music during the hike in the second half. Trail Recon has lots of narration and explanations. I liked the drone shots in your video, especially going up the River. The overhead drone shots reminded me of the overhead shots on Epic Family Road Trip of Lando running ahead of the Jeeps. So maybe your style can be different, depending on the situation, but my wife and I liked the scenic views and drone shots. The worst KZread videos are when the subject keeps the camera pointing at themselves. Keep the videos family friendly. Good luck and we look forward to more videos.

Both…mix it up a little
I'm more of a fan of some talking; videos are often made or not made by the personality of the host; yes views are amazing but people won't normally turn in to see them alone. Plus, the title says this was a 40+ mile ride but I can't say that I felt that to be true after watching it. It was fast, cut quickly and there was no anchor points for the viewer to grasp to gauge the difficulty if that makes sense. It doesn't have to be talking all the time but it does help with reference and caring for the host of the video.
