Mount Tibrogargan Pt4 (Cave route)

PLEASE READ PLEASE READ PLEASE READ PLEASE READ PLEASE READ!!!!
So this is a different way to tackle Tibro. Climbing up from the cave side!!
Although technically speaking, ropes aren't needed, and many have climbed this route without them, I highly recommend you take them for safety's sake unless you are a highly skilled and experienced mountain goat.
There are a few sections on this route where the consequences of a slip here will most likely be either very painful or very permanent so don't try them without rope. If you haven't done the tourist route easily, don't try this one. Only attempt this ropeless if you have a high level of confidence and experience on exposed rock with minimal holds.
If you are attempting this for the first time, go with someone experienced who can set ropes up for you.

Finally did Tibro few weeks back! It was scary as coming down! Ripped my pants. Going up was amazing. Went with a very knowledgeable group. Will definitely do it again.

Very cool.... your camera angles were on-point which gave a really good appreciation for the sheer terrain and height. Great job at climbing, you're doing really well!!

@@wilddonkeyadventures great video man, seems like there are a lot of hand and foot holds... you didn't go to cave 4? I would of liked a closer view of that section =).. Only if this mountain was closer I'd enjoy the scramble.

@@tofuhiker Cheers man. We didn't go in cave 4 this time. For the most part there's good holds, but just those couple of sections are pretty sketchy and there's a fair bit of air below if you slip. If you're light and an experienced scrambler, you'll find it pretty easy. But I'm a bit of a granny when it comes to safety, plus I'm on the heavier side so I tend to be a bit more cautious.

@@wilddonkeyadventures =), that left turn didn't help you lol.. even before you put the caption it wasn't a good idea I was that side doesn't look like it has much hand holds.. the way you mates went up looked much better lol.. that happened to me once on Mezzanine ridge.. I made a wrong choice and made the scramble up considerably harder =).

@@tofuhiker Haha, yeah it's not much fun when that happens. It's good afterwards though if you survive. LoL
